I tried what you suggested with the optimizer and it seems to be a little more evenly. What does seem to be different is that pitch inputs seem to accelerate faster than roll inputs. So if I pull the collective back, I get an aggressive pitch up movement vs. rolling giving me a slower movement.von angeljr - Café
This happens in any rate of stick deflection. I'm having to go roughly full stick to roll and about half stick to flip at an equal rate. It is not the model, I tried it with two VERY different models (a Quest Impaction 787 and two Miniature Aircraft Whiplash 730E). Both types of models experience the same behavior. I fly competitively for F3C and I had several other professional (world-clasvon angeljr - Café
I have flown a similar setup on three different models - two of the same kind (Whiplash 730E) and one on a Quest 787. On both models, I'm experiencing a slow roll rate, as compared to the flip rate. I've tried running the optimizer but it seems to make no difference. I had two other pilots fly my models and also observe and they all made the same observations. What can I do to make the roll anvon angeljr - Café
I am having the same experience. The roll and flip rates are uneven.von angeljr - Questions V5

I'm planning to put mine on the safety switch. When safety is on (motor off), it sends the shut down signal to the XGuard. This is a logical and reasonable way to do it and should be easily done with a macrocell.von angeljr - Questions VBar Control Touch
Thank you, Andy. Anyone else who knows others flying F3C with VControl, please chime in. I think there's great value to be added to this and it would generate great excitement while waiting for the global supply chain to ease up, allowing for new product releases!von angeljr - Café
Thanks, Richard. It sounds like you understood what I was trying to convey. I've worked around it but it would be nice to "know" that at 100% I have 14 degrees of pitch so if I want 15, I just dial up 107% on the pitch curve.von angeljr - Questions VBar Control Touch
Rich, I've fought this for a long time. I thought the behavior was supposed to set the servo/swash position to define 100% at either end of the curve to a "known" number of degrees, thus allowing me to adjust the curve (using simple math) to suit my needs. The first time this destroyed my F3C hover curve I was very upset and then I discovered the way this works and I can't for the livon angeljr - Questions VBar Control Touch
Fixing instantly isn't the issue, a change log is a software development best practice and a "known issues" is just good business by managing client expectations in a positive manner. Eddi E. aus G. Thank you! I think it would be helpful to have a known issues list along with a release notes to help avoid recurring questions like mine.von angeljr - Questions VBar Control Touch
Hello, As of the latest update, the log display seems to be in German despite the language being set to English. I tried toggling the unit to German then back to English but that did not help. Any thoughts? It's just the log window and logs.von angeljr - Questions VBar Control Touch

Will that affect all the banks? So if I have a bank that has zero collective at mid-stick, will that change? Thanks!von angeljr - VBar VLink
I fly F3C and have run into an issue setting up the governor where, if I use a curve that does not have zero pitch at mid-stick (we hover at mid-stick) the VBar governor is very unstable. It's almost as though the governor is expecting zero pitch at mid-stick for the calculations it makes, rather than reading zero pitch from the pitch curve. Is there a way around this? With that said, could you just write something that we can copy the files from the VControl and analyze them like the VBar utilities did. As much as I like having the cloud, I would not mind plugging in my Touch to do this on a regular basis. It is common in the technology industry, and a best practice, to write release notes anytime minor or major changes are made. It also gives people information to choose as to whether they want to upgrade or not, depending on the changes included in the release. Thank you for considering it!von angeljr - Questions VBar Control Touch
Would it be possible to get release notes each time you make a release? This would make it easier for us to self-service any potential questions or changes when there are updates. It would go a long way to help us understand when you make changes so we're not left looking for what's new or surprised when something is missing.von angeljr - Questions VBar Control Touch
