Have posted 2 times about rc packet lost with the neo? they disappear from the vcontrol forum? \ why?by thebirdman - Questions VBar Control
Back to my demon NX4 T10 gasser.... Wanting the temp app, I found out that I was required to loose the silverline and had to go with the NEO. Purchased the n/vlink version...upgraded it to pro. Rewired the sat cable with extensions as the connector was back ordered, and way to short for my situation any ways. It would initialize fine, but after a minute or 2 of the engine running...I noticed &qby thebirdman - Questions VBar Control
AGREE 100% Have several flight's now on the custom X6 using a spare gyro. Actually really impressed on how this stretched multi manufacturer heli flies. After the booboo with the gyro and rebuild, I tried 600mm blades...error...don't think the X5 head is strong enough? Dropped back too 550's from the original 570's and it loves it. Not happy with the head speed on 15t, tried 17 pinion fromby thebirdman - Questions V5
Need to assign channel 4 for a optic kill switch on a X4 T10 gasser. Know I'd asked in the version 5 forum but cannot locate? Know it was in the macros, now running a neo / vcontrol pro, was a silverline/vcontrol pro. But cannot find the location/area ? tyia birdmanby thebirdman - VBar NEO (non VLink)
Have submitted the form Love the vbar/vcontrol stuff.. works as good as one could expect... Sad when something does go array.... Hurtz the wallet a bit.... And a little on the ability of the pilot as to why it was not noticed during start-up. I would of thought if there was any issue in the "initialization" of the unit, It would not ??? Hi Rainer Ty will do so.... Nope - but i don't think this is the "real question" behind ;-) Not saying that I did not have a bad servo, and damage was done to the sensor when it went down? was just asking if there were issues of this sort of thing happening? Will put in the request to have the situation looked at tkx again Randy...aka birdman....by thebirdman - Questions V5
3rd hover flight on my stretched X5 heli decided it wanted to do a dolphin dance "At least that is what I thought it was doing" First 2 flights were fine, was just tuning the HS. Wasn't able to get it back on the ground in 1 piece I blamed it on a used servo? Repaired, all new servo's took up again yesterday and same effect happened as soon as airborne, was expecting it so got it dby thebirdman - Questions V5
Hi rv, just an update.... Gasser actually had 3 issue's, which blows me away... 1) rpm sensor is nfg... not the sensors problem, was an issue with the align fan warping under the heat from the engine, not sure why there are tonne's of thread's to loose the plastic and go metal ? Upon dis-assembly I noticed vary faint rub marks on 1/2 of the fan, sensor showed rubbing also AKA why it ran fineby thebirdman - Questions V5
Hi with rpm sensor connected, no log as never initializes With throttle servo connected, reset reason: power on Bank 1 loaded Gov stop Gov in motortune mode calibration finished " yet servos still jumping" Power off and on till a clean initialize: reset reason: power on Bank 1 loaded Gov stop Gov in motortune mode tkx randyby thebirdman - Questions V5
update, if rpm sensor is connected, and powered on it will not initialize, un-power,disconnect rpm and plug in throttle servo, power up and get several servos start jumping? disconnect power with throttle servo still connected, reconnect, servos jumping, redo again and will initialize fine?by thebirdman - Questions V5
ok disregard the user screen error, had updated the radio today and seams it turned on user screen app. SL will connect.. guess I will have to start looking at what is causing it? ty for your time rainer randyby thebirdman - Questions V5

Hi rainer yes servo port has the throttle servo attached, rpm pickup on the sensorrII port so you want to jump sero to ch4 no signal wire correct? ty randyby thebirdman - Questions V5
Hi rv no the sensor does not lite, eroded on the forum, this has version 6 vcontrol nothing changed on the connections, was working fine randyby thebirdman - Questions V5
been having some issues on a GX4 "NX4 gasser" would die after 2 minutes high rpm, Vbar would still be on and active, heli would lite back up after a 10 minute cool down. The last time it would not initialize... So I thought ok found the issue as could be a bad BEC..... Took out bec today and tested on another receiver and works fine, supplied clean voltage to the silverline and nothing?by thebirdman - Questions V5

Slowly getting things back up on the new vcontrol... Have been adding in rpm display as I go Just did the X5 with the hobbywing rpm sensor, works mint, just tapped into the spectrum sat port for 5v... as advised. Now on my X4, the V3 hobbywing esc has a rpm line, can this just be plugged into the same RCA port of the mini with no issue's, thought I would ask before I started checking the rpmby thebirdman - Questions V5
Agree on the timer "reset" app for my gassers.... Not just for flight times, but testing times Having it assigned to say an unused momentary switch would rock thebirdmanby thebirdman - Questions VBar Control
Thank's Uli The rescue function question was meant to be a pun, Just trying to find a way to at least get a little chuckle out of what happened. Will send you a pic of some "wall art" for the hobby room randyby thebirdman - Café
