I would for now just like to be able to source a basic vbar for redundancy/channels on a scale bird i've been building, and maybe a nice vtouch to upgrade my vcontrol.. Camo would be nice just so I can forget it it the weeds againby thebirdman - Café
OK ty, yet another, have the telemetry for scorpion in one tele port , is this going to conflict any with the air sensor in the second? tkx randyby thebirdman - VBar VLink
Updated, all fine.... Another question if I may Sir? Can I use the tele ports on the expander unit for the air sensor? Just working out the wiring, will be mounting the second unit in the front of the bird for diversity and less wiring length ty sir Randyby thebirdman - VBar VLink
Another dumb question, the 2 spare pro neos i do have, neither have antennas? and are non vlink, i'm assuming if i want to use i will have to add the vlink upgrade and install the ant? Again tkx..... new adventure for me birdmanby thebirdman - VBar VLink
Hi eddi, don't really require accuracy, just the factuality, possible a larger air pickup? simulating a faster speed? Going to order one up and do some bench testing and see what I can come up with.. Thank you again, and tkx for the expander requirements reply, have a couple spare vbasics,,,, Birdmanby thebirdman - VBar VLink
what sort of input signal would be required ? for the vlink neo... Also just about out of channels so contemplating a second neo, but had a question, does the second neo have to be the same as the main unit? ex/// current is the vlink, can a basic neo be used as the second? or another vlink is required to expand? tkx birdmanby thebirdman - VBar VLink
I like that idea Eddi, do have 2 locations left to place some scale detail, maybe able too incorporate Off on the hunt birdmanby thebirdman - VBar VLink
Ty, will work on the idea that way Birdmanby thebirdman - VBar VLink
Getting close to setting up the accessories in the scale apache build and had an idea for the rear articulating stab. In real life the stab is positioned down in hover to reduce rotor wash, and moves upward in forward flight for stability, anyway to reference that channel to the gyro? Hence when in forward flight the gyro knows this and in return use this signal "reference" to move theby thebirdman - VBar VLink
As stated dumb question... Bought a used neo vlink 2 years back that had rescue and totally forgot, never had rescue "active" on vcontrol so no "issue". this was installed on a agile 7.2 gasser and had the engine kill setup on the buddy switch, all was good. Well bought a used logo 200 last week that had rescue and flew today for first time, This time I activated rescue on tby thebirdman - Questions VBar Control
ty ....for supplying the pinouts Have 15+ neo usb cables..... Would rather not have one in my new neo box, but one included in a any new configuration Birdmanby thebirdman - Café
Hi Rainer, ty for the response, what would the disadvantages be if I may ask? ty Randyby thebirdman - Café
Setting up a 700 size scale ah64 and running the vbar in egov mode, is it possible to have bank1 in throttle direct mode as i do with my nitros? cant find the setting for the life of me tyia Birdmanby thebirdman - Café
TY Rainer will give it a go, now see were i was going wrong randyby thebirdman - Café
Happy holidays all, question for you all as haven't been able to figure it out, probably starring right at the answer. Is it possible to mirror the esc input to the output of aux1? Need a speed signal for my sound module and do not want to Y the esc lead if possible. not using the aux1 signal pin for anything so it is free.... ty in advance Randyby thebirdman - Café
I'm sure the answer is yes, however have yet to find info on it so going to ask politely Building up a large scale helicopter and would like to use the rear left switch to control a sound board. Forward position = Off Center position = On Momentary position for Gun sounds Possible with a macro ? tyia Randyby thebirdman - Questions VBar Control
Tkx for the reply rainer, I'll just interrupt the circuit via a jumper....the optipower will take over if there is ever an issue thebirdmanby thebirdman - Questions VBar Control
Curious if there is a method to power off the neo between flights with out having to remove the canopy and disconnect the rx pack on a nitro? skookum and ikon2 have this feature, as do several bec's.... tkx thebirdmanby thebirdman - Questions VBar Control
defiantly a issue with the unit as if I put the slightest pressure on the connectors I can get the channel to work and have the unit turn off "V" no longer lit..than connects again but no channel 3 sad a brand new unit out of the sealed package did not pass QC checks do I have to send in or can my lhs replace were I purchased?\ tkx againby thebirdman - Café
Not getting a good impression with the neo's first neo non vlink looses signal while cranking motor..haven't had time too look at second neo w/vlink seams fine hasn't flown yet 3rd neo has no channel 3 output??? not a servo issue as swapped wires and that servo non functioning unit also has errors imu stopped delivering data imu data delivers all zeros brand new unit I just registeredby thebirdman - Café
I love it to...but use a dx8 for indoor....just more options available..by thebirdman - Café
Ok issue solved....would not have believed but esc is nfg... decided to try another new unit this am, and calibration went fine. guess 1 in 20 is not badby thebirdman - Café
Ok I'm stumped or one bad brain fart... Have setup several fullsize vbars on the vcontrol, hw throttle calibration went fine. Cannot get the calibration to work on the neo and hobbywing esc. im in esc wizard / other esc/ power down/full stick/power on, but esc not ? doing what it should... is there a different procedure for the neo with vlink and pro update? ty in advance birdmanby thebirdman - Café
Yes have chatted with several vcontrol users at the recent funflys and they agree, have asked them too chum in and see if we can get this to happen, would be a nice app...by thebirdman - Café
Sorry as for "stick movement" meant....that the system should know that the throttle was activated for a duration of time compared too rpm/vibration levels/current draw??? Again have been wrong many timesby thebirdman - Café
Hi yes agree, but is 3rd party and a ui sensor is required, also it does not know what model was connected...only a model. Vcontrol already has all this information through the flight logs, knows what model connected, flight duration, etc. A simple app counter should be easy to write? But then again I've been wrong many times before thebirdmanby thebirdman - Café
Would love to have a flight log app for the vcontrol? Not meaning the actual flight log, but a flight counter for maintenance purposes... I try the log each flight, but on the most part I forget or loose count. Something simple like a power on for more than "x" amount of time, or the vcontrol should know by flight time/stick movement/rpm, etc...that a actual flight did occur? On mby thebirdman - Café
