Vario Installation

Good Morning,
I cannot find installation instruction anywhere. I assume thus :
. 2 pipes from the pitot tube to the sensor box
. the holes arround the circumferance when mounting the pitot tube must be outside where eve it is mounted. this is used for static pressure ?

The tube measures the difference - and all holes must be in "free air". The static pressure is delivered by a second sensor inside the housing itself.

Hi,

to clarify:

For speed, the differential pressure between the tube pointing forward and the holes around the circumference are used, the actual sensors are on the upper surface of the sensor board, below the fittings.
For altitude and variometer, a second sensor inside the sensor housing, on the lower surface of the sensor board, is used.

If you only want to use variometer, you can leave the hose fittings unused and omit the pitot tube.

I have just added the manual (German-English, two pages) to the online shop, for your perusal.

gibt es einen Grund warum die Drucksensor App nicht im VBar Shop (direkt am Sender) zum Download steht?

Moin,

mit dem nächsten Update vom Sender wird auch der Shop dort aktualisiert. Solange bitte hier auf vstabi.info/devices auswählen, man muss den Sender dazu nicht an den Computer anschließen, und dann über den App-Updater per WLAN aktualisieren.

approx. 5 x 80 mm (diameter x length tip-toe (end of tubules where the hoses go onto)).

Will the app only download to the Touch when the Actual unit is plugged into the Neo ?

Currently not - just do manual through the WEB UI

I loaded the app to the Touch via the web UI. It show OK but without a tick on the Touch. I assume when I connect bind with the Neo and Sensor it will be ticked.
