For my part I had two Swashplates which both had some issue after a crash. Therefore, I wanted to use parts from each plate to create a new one. Doesn't seem that easy to do that :-).

Hi,

in fact it isn't easy at least at most home workshops, because the parts are pressed into each other. You need a proper press and matching tools as not to damage the bearing and the aluminum parts. Removing the plastic ball joint will most probably damage the groove which holds it in place, you would have to glue it in once it's been removed.
