Thanks for the info. I had screenshots disabled on my Vcontrol, but there were a ton of old log files. I deleted them, and then reloaded the macrocell app, and it loaded and updated normally. Thanks again.by rcflyerheli - Questions VBar Control
I just updated two Vlink neos to 6.4 through Vbar control manager. My understanding from one of the Mikado reps is that the latest correct firmware version is 6.4.27. One of my Neos reports version 6.4.27 but the other reports 6.4.251. Why the difference?by rcflyerheli - VBar VLink
I did an update on my transmitter last night, and ran into a slight problem. When connected to the vbar control manager, the update went as usual where it checked the file integrity and said OK. It then updated the clock, and began updating the apps. It updated all the apps except the macrocell one, and it came back and reported an error on that app. Then it began cycling through a restartby rcflyerheli - Questions VBar Control
RV, they are designed around non VBC transmitters with throttle curves if you are you are using the ESC internal governor. If you use their set rpm function to define your head speeds, you have to set a unique throttle curve value for N,FM1/FM2. They do it in group ranges, (ie, N can be from 1 to 49%, FM1 50 to 99%, and FM2 100%). If the values for FM 1 and 2 are say 70 and 85, the ESC willby rcflyerheli - Questions VBar Control
My question on this is what values do you have in your ESC out values. If you are running on the Edge governor, you need to set 30/70/100 values for your bank values, which generally equates to flat line throttle curves on non VCT transmitters.by rcflyerheli - Questions VBar Control
I tried to get an answer on this issue at Mikado USA, and the final suggestion was to ask my question on this forum. I do not see anything specifically regarding just the Vlink Neo, but the non Vlink forum said to ask over here. My question is that in my setups, I end up with with 13-19mm of antenna wire protruding out of the end of the antenna mount tubes. Whenever I fly, the ends of the anby rcflyerheli - Café
One thing I noticed on my last setup (Logo 700) was that the default pitch curve in the Vcontrol is set for something like 80 or 90 percent of max, but can be adjusted to 100 percent. Is there some reason for the lower end point values?by rcflyerheli - Questions V5
Well, I finally came to a decision and did place the shim/spacer on the inner race of the thrust washer and applied just a tiny drop of CA to hold it in place, then assembled the grips. Happy to say that so far, everything is smooth and free. After the loctite cures on the grip screws, I will give it a runup tomorrow to check for vibrations, and then get the maiden and a couple flights if nothiby rcflyerheli - Logo 700/800 Questions

My question is what was the thinking on changing the ID of the grip bore from 10 to 12 mm right at the edge of the radial bearing. Even going to a 12mm OD spacer, this forces it to sit on the step face and all of the centrifugal force restraint forces are placed here on the step, rather than on the face where the radial bearing sits which is designed with the intent to hold the grips in place.by rcflyerheli - Logo 700/800 Questions
Thank you very much.by rcflyerheli - Questions V5
Ranier, I really want you to know that I am not knocking Vbars at all, because I run 8 of the various models, and also run the Vcontrol transmitter, and until this issue has surfaced, I have loved them and really promoted them. In this situation, and after doing a LOT of research on various forums, asking a ton of questions, and doing numerous tests on my systems, I have to take exception tby rcflyerheli - Questions V5
OK, I need to ask a direct question. You did a servo test with the Savox 2271 HV servos and said that they were good to use. I don't see anything regarding other brand HV high powered servos. Have you run any test on the BK 7001 and 8001 servos? If so what are the results? If my setup can't make the fault appear at a pitch pump value of 0 or 10 on the bench is there any chance it can causeby rcflyerheli - Questions V5
Just out of curiosity, what values do top competitive pilots run on that?by rcflyerheli - Questions V5
Rainer, No I have not tried a capacitor yet. I thought that if I simply ran a power lead to each servo and removed the current draw from within the Vbar itself, that would solve the issue, but it did not. What I have found is that at pitch pump values of 30 or less, I can't make it give the warning. I don't do hard 3d, and my PP values have always been set to the default values in the setby rcflyerheli - Questions V5
And one last development. I ran a watt meter between the battery plug and the plug that powers everything and repeated the test. On the watt meter, pushing the pitch pump as hard as I could at 50, the highest amp draw it recorded was 6.5. The lowest voltage it recorded was 7.35. This tells me that there is something else going on in the setup that isn't directly related to pure current drawby rcflyerheli - Questions V5
What a revolting development this turned out to be!!!!! After all that work building the wiring harness so that the power goes directly to the servos from the RX lipo and having its own individual power plug to the mini V, when I run the test on it with 50 in the pitch pump, I STILL get the 3.3 rail low voltage message. However, some good news (maybe) to go along with this is that 25 on the piby rcflyerheli - Questions V5
The setup is Vcontrol sat, BK7001/7005 HV servos mini V powered by a 3600mah 2s lipo running 2 parallel inputs to the mini V. Before switching over to the Vcontrol, I was running Spektrum DSMX sats with a DX9 TX. I probably had 10-15 flights on that setup and although I didn't check logs after every flight session, when I did check them, I saw none of the 3.3 rail low voltage warnings, and expby rcflyerheli - Questions V5

Try this. Get a hex driver with the shaft size the same as your blade bolts or a top flite blade balancer with the two cones and insert either of these two into the blade bolt holes. I like the prop balancer as it works for different size helis. With it snug in the grip holes, simply sight between it and the center of the main shaft when collective is at mid travel.
