Background Info here:
The NEO initializes with the internal sensor as it is the "master" when a fallback must be done and also responsible for the Rescue.
The External one will be expected in the same center values - and if they are off - we have this behaviour. This can only be fixed by another external sensor or just fly with the internal only.
The external has a lower resoulution, so it is not needed if the heli works fine with the internal. And - as the internal one is also better in vibrating environments - it is also better use the internal ones. And ... as the interna one is used for fallback and main input for rescue - it is also mandatory that it works with the internal one as well.
So .. to sum up ... if you have a heli which needs a special sensor placement (and this was the reason for the external one) - move the NEO to a better place or cure your heli to work with NEO first.
