elevator channel failure, wont initialize now

My buddy was flying at the field yesterday and one of his nitros with neo vlink started to twitch some on elevator axis, looking at the logs it said elevator channel failure and also a few aileron channel failures, now the unit wont even initialize. What does this mean?

Please attach the log. Does he fly VBC or other radio?

he is flying VBC, he is not very computer savy but I will let him know. This particular neo I believe was bought second hand and he never registered it. Is there a way he can contact you to discuss further?
