VControl transmitter battery 1s4p 14.000 mAh

I see there is one for the Evo and one for the Touch , whats the difference , kan we use one on both radios ie evo battery on the touch radio ,

whats the advantages of the new Li-Io transmitter battery vs the old ( 2x ) assuming its a lipo battery

The difference is that the battery holder has a bit different distance from the board with some spacers.

The old battery has 4000 / 6000 mAh - so having 2 have been 8000 / 12000 mAh. 14000 is a bit more then.

as Rainer stated, the holder is different, more precise, the holder is actually the same but there is additional spacing is included, for Touch.
The battery itself is the same.

Apart from the higher capacity, the Li-Io round cell-battery is more robust and should provide even higher longevity than the specifically low C Li-Po pouch type batteries.
And it has a protective circuit built-in, for additional operational safety.

Using the Touch variant for Touch is mandatory, else the holder will interfere with components on the surface of the main board, and can and will cause damage sooner or later!

Hi,

the 1s 6,000 weighs approx. 105 g
the 1s4p 14,000 weighs approx. 195 g

So, approx. 90 g of extra weight.

If you add a second (original) 1s, you exceed that by a mighty 15 g

Weight-wise, there's not much of a difference.

Nonetheless, at a slightly lower weight (–7.1 %) , you get more capacity (+16,7 %).
