VBC Touch lines on the screen

I know there was a problem way back with bolts that were too long and could damage the screen on a VBCt and cause lines appearing on the screen.

Currently have a few customers with lines visible in sunlight and in the shade on their VBCt radios. What can be cause of this?

Could be a bad contact at the ribbon cable - or inside the display itself.

So - in case of it might disturb - please file a RMA for our Service.
