Vbar Neo Nitro voltage drop on receiver pack in idle

Vbar Neo Nitro voltage drop on receiver pack in idle

So when I'm in idle 1 (headspeeed 1600) I have no issues. But as soon as I go into idle up 2 (1800 head speed) the helis receiver back drops loads. The end points on the nitro servo are fine. So I'm thinking is this to do with the Integral setting in the Vbar software? If so do I just reduce this setting? or is this something else entirely?

Any support would be much appreciated

Hi,

a voltage drop is usually not a thing of settings, unless a servo would bind and draw excessively high amps.
And even then, the blocking current is usually way less than the peak current in changes of direction, which happen all the time on the main rotor or the tail rotor.
It's a thing between the consumers and the power supply.

What servos and what power supply are you using, and how's everything wired?

Kind regards

Vbar neo nitro voltage drop on idle up 2

I can cruise around at 1600 head speed no problems. But as soon as I go above 1700+ the reciever battery drops voltage down to 7volts (2 cell lipo).

So I checked the throttle servo in vbar software to make sure endpoints were OK and they were.

Why else would I get this problem?

Thanks for kindly helping much appreciated. I have set the max and min throttle servo throw in vbar so it shouldn't bind should it?

My set up is as follows

Vbar Neo Pro latest firmware
Futaba R7008SB reciever
Futaba 14sg transmitter
Futaba S3071 throttle servo
JR NXB89G tail
JR NX8935 cyclic
Os 105hzr
Optipower 2cell reciever lipo
Optipower ultraguard

Is there some kind of switch in between?
How strong are all electrical connections?
Is the battery connected to VBar or RX?
How old is the battery?
How is it monitored?

The Voltage drop is usually not a thing of the VBar - we just pass the voltage through.

Yes there is an off/on switch
Electrical connections are fine, no overheating or anything
Battery is connected to vbar not RX
Battery is about 3 years old but stable
Monitored via telemetry through futaba transmitter

I would like to have more details.

"I have a switch" is not as detailed as needed for troubleshooting.

Please describe exactly which battery, cables (lenght, size), which switchm how many sockets used etc. - simply the complete chain.

Hello Rainer

Thank for your patience. I have found the culprit. 1 of the cells in the reciever lipo was poor. Changed the battery and now all ok
