Buddying with Futaba 14sg vbar neo

I can fly my helis fine with my transmitter (futaba 14sg). Works amazing.

However I want do do some training with someone using a buddy link wire between the 2 transmitters.

Both transmitters are the same.
I copy my profile over to the other.
My transmitter is Mode 2
The other is set to mode 1.

For the life of us we cannot not get it to work correctly. I have no pitch control when I'm in control. We can not figure it out.

Is this possible at all? Can anyone give any advice?

I think this is a question for a Futaba Support - we can only work with the signals given to the RX into NEO.

Do they have a idea?

Turns out that the two transmitters are using different firmware. So I have updated the firmware and waiting to test.
