Hi
what happen if you want to run HV servo's
what happen if you do not have HV servo's?

So what ever voltage you put in is what you get out?

Hmmm

try 400V and see what happens .....

But look at the technical informations:

Technical Data

Supply Voltage 3.5-8.4 V (2S LiPo)

Current Consumption ca. 120-170 mA

Operating Temp. -5 to 60 °C / 23 to 140 °F

Dimensions/weight 45 x 25 x 15 mm / 17 g; .177 x .098 x .059 in / .6 oz

I hear you on the 400V!
what happen if you have 3 HV Cyclics
and low voltage on the tail ?

.... it depends on the servo...

If the servo is not HV I must use A step down voltage Right?

Hi,

to sum it up: no VBar has a voltage regulator for the servos built in: all connectors (except RX A on a Mini VBar) on the servo side are on the same power rail, plus, on a full size main unit, you also have that voltage (but not the copper layers for high currents) on Servo, above Sensor II. This is why that last port is only meant for throttle servos (mind that if they bind or block, the current might damage the VBar) or for ESCs (but not for BEC, also because of the possible currents).

The sensor ports as well as the Spektrum/Telemetry ports run 3.3 V, so be careful not to connect HV or even LV there.
They are also not meant to tap into for 3.3 V for other devices, since they run on the same bus as the CPU the slightest mishap may fry the VBar for good.

Kind regards

thanks for the information.
On the NEO throttle port would that put out 2s voltage?
I am running the 2 S lipo pack for input.
plus this is in a nitro heli.

Hi,

all ports on the servo side run the same (input) voltage on the NEO, this includes ESC and RPM (which means, if an rpm sensor requires say 5 V, you would need a regulator there, too.

Kind regards
