Batt ID Sticker - peeling out as batteries puff!

Hello Everyone,

I installed battery ID stickers on the side of my battteries that puff as they age, as all batteries do...

As they do puff and the surface becomes curved (convex), the stickers peel out the hard plastic outer part of them, and only the grey soft sticker material underneath them stays stuck to the batteries... the other day on my 700 the hard part of the sticker layers was left fallen down on the landing pad as I took off... and from what I noticed the Batt ID sticker does need the hard plastic layer AS WELL AS the soft grey sticker, is that right?

What do you recommend me to do in this case? Anyone else running into the same issue and solutions around it?

The soft gray sticker is the magnetic shield, that isolates the tag from the metal battery surface. So its no problem if the is not directly on the sticker.

Use some shrink wrap over the tag and the battery to hold everything together. This shall do.
