Flashing Blue LED on NEO RX

I have a new NEO Rx that when powered up, will only display a flashing blue led and not show up on the bind screen. Am I missing a step? This is my first go around with the RX only version.

The rx is updated, registered etc.

Hmm, sure you did not accitentially load the Extender Version? Which serial Nr?

Ok, looks good so far.
If you just power up, does it not go to red/green Blink?
Ist your RX Voltage sufficient? Not much i can imagine what may keep it from entering Bind mode. If thats good, the device may be faulty. We had a case where the Voltage measurement of the RX Voltage was off, then it will never initialize, because it sees low voltage condition.

I am using a 2cell lipo that reads right around 7.9v with 2 separate voltage meters.

It only flashes a fast blue led. Will not go into the red/green mode

Hello Heath,

maybe an update has gone wrong. I have temporarily enabled the Extender firmware for this unit.
Please connect to a computer first, only then power up (should flash white, then), then run VBar Control Manager to update to Extender.
Then, hit (Applications) and select Basic VLink Receiver again, from vstabi.info/devices, let it update again.

Now? Please report back when it's done, either it's fixed, then, or we have a warranty replacement coming your way.

I loaded the extender firmware just fine. When trying to reload it back to the basic vlink receiver again it does not show up as an option.

it's (or should be) the first option in the list. But anyway, I have changed it back, and back to RX-Only.
So now, after another update, we'll know

Unfortunately, I am getting the same result. The firmware says it loaded correctly, but it still has the fast blue led flashing and unable to bind it to my Touch.

How would you like me to procede?

well, your next stop would be your dealer, your contractual partner, for a replacement.
We can also do that directly, then please create a service ticket at vstabi.info/devices, and we take it from there.
