Vbar NEO - 8.7v supply voltage?

I wanted to know if the NEO can handle a 8.7v supply voltage (4.35v/cell high voltage 2s lipo).

Yes

NEO is spec´d for 2s max, Evo for 3s

Both have plenty of margin, so 8.7 for NEO is no problem. NEO will not die on 12V, but it gets warmer, specially if much telemetry is connected.

EVO has an DC/DC Converter, so it consumes lower current with higher voltages, and produces way less heat, even with full load at the telemetry ports.
