Vbar Touch software

Hello,

It used to come out corrections and new functionality for the Vbar Touch in a steady pace but now there is nothing. Is the Vbar Touch a dead branch? Is all focus put on the new hardware for a revised Vbar Touch?

The touch will go into production again later this year as soon as hardware allows.

It is not "dead" - but the limited developement resources are currently focused on other stuff.

But - also ongoing - there could be a small update for the touch regarding the battery management later this year.

I am curious, As production of VBCt with the new hardware is underway, will this render existing VBCt to be end of life?

Will there be two branches of software release, one for new hardware and one for existing hardware.

to the best of my knowledge, no.
For the user, it makes no difference if he has one or the other mainboard, the software and user experience will be the same.
Like running Windows on an Intel or AMD machine with similar computing power ... makes no perceptible difference.

Of course for us, there will be two branches (different firmwares), but the actual software (Apps) is afaik already the same again, on both.
Onions have layers, VBar Control has layers
