Player Control App on Vcontrol Touch

I was watching a video showing kyle dahls radio at a funfly and when Ron from Mikado went through his radio under applications he had an app called "Player Control" and states that this allows control of remotely playing music from your phone or other device. I dont see an option to install this app and cant seam to find any other information anywhere.

Well, this is experimental only and not official released. Might be in future depending on further development.

Are things looking good or are they on the sidelines for now? The video I seen it in was a year and a half old.
