Latest Kontronik Telemetry

According to Kontronik they have a firmware release for Kosmik and JivePro that now gives telemetry directly to radios via only a two cable connection from ESC to FBL unit. (their name for cable is "JR telemetry cable)

Is this now possible with Neo and VBC? How is the connection made?

VControl, VBar on all.
TDR, TDR2, TDF, TDS and TDSF

Hi,

afaik the ESCs in question just do no longer require the TelMe module but have the electronics and/or logic on board.
So what you would still need is their telemetry wire with the JR type (servo type) connector, and to adapt it to the JST type telemetry connector (Spektrum Sat type) used on the VBar (signal and ground, two wire connection).

Kind regards

Hi Eddi
This wasn't quite clear answer on the question that Neo and Vcontrol supports telemetry from kontronik without Telme module.
It will be nice to have detailed answer on that simple question(yes,no,any plans on doing that since K released the new update for their ESCs).
Thanks in advance.
My regards.
George.

On the website found:

Quote:
So the COOL KOSMIK 250 HV provides telemetric data for Futaba, Multiplex, Graupner, Mikado and Jeti without an additional TelMe module.

and:

Quote:
With this release, the KONTRONIK protocol for telemetry is now available. It can be used in combination with the telemetry cable JR. The specification of the protocol can be found under “Downloads” as well.

So the new 250 seem to work like a Kolibri w/o external TelMe but with our Mikado Protocol.

The other thing - Kontronik made a OWN Protocol for all - wich is not our protocol - and so ... not supported by us. You still need a TelMe to get the Mikado Protocol for non-250 or non-Kolibri ESC's.
