Hi, I have not setup a plane before only Helis so I am trying to learn. I was thinking of using a VBasic receiver in my new plane but there is not really a good platform to mount the receiver forward or backward. Can I mount it sidways in the plane? If not I will have to make a platform to raise the existing spot.

Also I want to use macrocells to mix flaps and elevator. So I must install Vplane software?

Mounting of VBasic doesn't care - as long as it isn't upgraded to VPlane (Gyros active then).

Macrocells - just load the MC app on VBC - no VPlane needed ;-)
