How to tell if I can VLINK Upgrade?

is there a way to tell if I can do the vlink upgrade to a NEO without opening the box and plugging it in?
I won a NEO at a raffle and it is the non vlink type but I been converting my fleet to all vlink. I would like to do the upgrade adding antennas if possible but if not I would like to just sell it and buy the vlink type. If I do sell it I would prefer to sell it as unopened, hence my question.

No, you can't - the order numbers are the same than before.

But - the new generation is on production since last October - so i think no one had such a old NEO in stock ...
