Vbar Gov spool up

hello

Vcontrol +mini vbar
dont know what is happen its just happen now suddely.

motor hk2520-1880
hobbywing 50A:

the soft spool up is ok nothing to complaine

let is say i have rpm set on 3000
min th =40
run up =3

problem is motor spool up random run over my set rpm ( 3000 ) to around 3500-3600 then slowdown to 3000
idont feelt that is normal, i never seen vbar doing like this before

sometime it normal sometime go very higt rpm

tell me why?

can you please read the event log from the device?

Can you replicate it on the bench, or does it only occur in flight, with blades on?

i can see many

Governor is at low throttle limit
i will do bench test w/o blade

I got it now

I have baulout 0%
i do autorotation i switch motor run to motor idle
Then motor idle to motor run again heli spool up very strange unstable rpm happen sometime.

If i do autorotation swith motor run to motor off all work fine
What i learn now

Hi,

if you have autorotation bailout at 0 % throttle, the ESC will cut off even if you switch to IDLE.

If you switch back on, there could be commutation errors (if the ESC has to find the position of the still spinning motor), and the spool up ramp is very steep, to allow for a quick increase in head speed if you have to abort an autorotation.

So it's explicable why this happens.

If you do autos all the way down, all the time, you can directly switch off (but then have to expect the slow spool up to ruin your day).
If you train autos and abort at times, or if you want to use a drop in head speed as an effect in your flight, I would rather use a sensible value for autorotation bailout (as much as is required so the ESC doesn't cut off the motor), so you can safely (and without bad effects) spool up any time.
