Castle Live Link on VBC?

The TelMe stuff with Kontronik sounds great. Now that you've done all the hard work on the VBC, do you think there will be integration with the Castle Serial Link?

There is currently nothing on the plan - no request from castle here for telemetry implementation.

Anyway - if castle would like to do - they know how to get in toch with us ;-)

Castle's Live Link protocols are public, so in theory somebody with the right knowledge could create a unit that bridged this to the NEO. It reports all the usual telemetry stuff, and allows changes to settings, which is where the TelMe unit sounds like it's going as well.

I reckon it's one of these things a smart kid could solve with Raspberry pi or something similar, but I guess with the Castle specific updates required to the VBC, it might be a bigger project than I imagine.

We won't use their protocols - because any open protocol is a backdoor for someone. Sorry - we made our experiences in the past with such things.

So - if - they should contact us, we will make a small agreement - and they can implement our telemetry.
