Could anyone tell me whether a New logo 550SX combo kit now come with a V-bar Neo as standard yet or is it still a V-bar mini?

Also, How far away is the Fusion version.

thanks,
Ian

Hi Ian,

we are just in the process to switch from Mini to NEO, so if you explicitly want a combo with a NEO, better ask your dealer what's in it.

Fusion, will still take some time. But since it's only a canopy and a tail boom cover, it's also pretty easy to switch to the fuselage later if you want to buy a LOGO now.

Kind regards

Ok,

Thanks Eddi.

I have been ready to buy the 550SX for a while but Fast Lad have not had stock recently to ask the below question.

I see the kit now has a Neo, is it a Vlink version or the Non VLink as i have a VBC.

Thanks,
Ian

Hi Ian,

the combos have the non-VLink variety, other brands of radios are still more common ... do you have a receiver satellite to spare?

Kind regards

Hi Eddi,

No, I just have the one on my existing Logo 600SE.

Hopefully, I can do a deal with Fast Lad and swap the non VLink for a VLink and pay the difference.
If not, buy a RX satellite.

Is there any benefit to either solution?

Thanks,
Ian

On the Vlink NEO, the Rx is not on the servo power bus so it is much less likely to be affected by servo back EMF

Also, the wiring is cleaner with the VLink version.

My battery supplier has very little 5000mah 6S at the moment.

They do have a 6000mah 6S which weighs about 150g more (900g v 750g) but will fit.
What would be the effect on a Logo 550SX. Would it give longer run time or would the extra weight offset the run time and/or cause the heli problems in flight?

Thanks,
Ian

Hi Ian,

you can set up the CG right with these batterys, if they fit under the Counter bearing of the Motor/ Main Shaft.
A heavier heli is not as agile as a light one. I think you know that...
From my own experience you will get more flight time with bigger batterys and a little bit less performance (agility) and the load of the mechanic is increased.

Best wishes

Alex
