Hi,

the antenna wires on a LOGO 200 are routed straight back, parallel, left and right of the chassis, and fix with zip ties.
With visual range being the limit, with a 200 size helicopter, range is not a problem, even if you do big air maneuvers (as far as you can see it winking smiley).
On other park-flyer sized models, you would probably only have one active antenna anyway, not a technically full range receiver.

Nothing to worry.

Kind regards

Thanks Eddi,

I was just currious about this routing on this nice tiny heli, (have serveral bigger heli's with Neo and must routed 90gr)

Thanks for your explonation

Hi again,

in general, the two antennas on 2.4 GHz should be as far apart as possible (most important),
then they should point in different directions (90° the optimum, to cover two polarization planes),
then, they should not be tightly bent or kinked, as to prevent damage to the strands and the shielding inside, but laid out in a more gentle arc.
This is also because kinks can affect the wave resistance, and significantly reduce the antenna gain—the higher the frequencies, the worse.
And lastly, they should stand out freely, in particular they should not be covered by metal or carbon, and they should not be laid out close to conducting materials or fluids, since that can also significantly reduce the antenna gain <- range.

At considerably close range, nothing to worry about, the farther you go, the more important.

All the (warning sign) do's and don'ts in the radio manual have their reason winking smiley
But the only thing that seems to have stuck in people's minds is 90° and maybe, not below or inside a carbon canopy/fuselage.

Cheers
