Having trouble reverting a mini vbar to 5.3

Hi,

I have an old Mini vbar that I have on v6 sw for my vcontrol and I'm looking at selling it so wanted to put it back to V5.3 software. I've been trying the recovery software to get it to a state where it can accept the 5.3 software but the progress bar never starts moving and it seems to time out. I've done this before but it's not working anymore. Is there an issue running the old vstabi setup software on windows 10 or anything? If not any ideas how to get this to work and what might be going wrong?

There is no issue.

did you unconnect everything (e.g. a satellite) before starting the recovery?

Sorry I got no notification for this so I didn't know you'd replied. I reinstalled the uart driver and all started working. Strange I had to reinstall, something odd on the original install maybe.
