Hello,
here is my setup for the 600 NSP, Outrage head, JR DS 8917 on swash, straight from a 2s LiPo.
After flying the attached setup (which works nicely), I shortened the servo arms and recalculated cyclic gain. It should be around 95, give or take some from measurement error. Further, I increased cyclic ring to 70.
The tail hasn't been tuned too carefully.
Pictures show
- my computer assisted pitch measurement system
showing 2x11 degrees at 80 collective
- Wiring
- the shortened push-pull linkage. The ball head distance on the servo side is 20.5 mm. On the JR standard cross, it is the inner hole pair on the longer arm.
- The rotorhead using the outer holes on the blade grip levers
- The rotorhead attached to the standard 600 NSP main shaft using the middle hole.
The rotor sits a bit lower than it used to. Well, I've thrown the heli around for a bit. At least until now, there is no sign of a coming boomstrike. Time will tell...
Cheers
Markus
PS: There is a (lame
) video of the old setup (longer servo arms) here:

The tail wiggle after stops improved.
