The nitro idle could always be adjusted via a poti as per attached screen grab from vstabi instructions. It is no no longer an option in the VBC with either a Neo or an Evo with nitro gov selected. Is this setting available somewhere else or how can a poti be assigned permanently to a poti? Thanks all.by Vinger - Questions VBar Control
Hi Have a friend with a VPlane setup on a turbine jet using two VBar Neos. First flew it with the default flight settings but it had a slow dolphin like wag on all axis. Changed gain settings but it had no effect on it. We then lowered the Integral gains from default of 30 to 20 and even 15 and it seems to now fly smoothly. The problem is that in bank 1 (no gyro) it performs perfectly to inby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink
Hi all I see that there are now a new Li-Ion 7000 mAh pack for the VBCe. A few questions 1. Were any changes made to the charging circuit on the main board? 2. Can the original LiPo cell still be used on its own by removing the Li-Ion pack? 3. Are the 2P cells balanced while charging? Balance circuitry build into pack? 4. Cells size, one would assume it is the 18650 3500mAh, correct orby Vinger - Questions VBar Control Touch

This is the power distribution in use. There are only SBus selectable as input. SBus2 is Futaba's telemetry bus. No gyros in this box. Channel assignment as per Futaba SBus protocol. Single Neo with VPlane and set to SBus output at AUX1 connected to the RX input of the unit. https://www.powerbox-systems.com/uploads/tx_pbsdocuments/4520_Champion-SRS_en.pdf The servos all work perfectly afteby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink

Hi Eddi It is definitely SBus and it is a Powerbox product but I do not know the exact model. In further testing my side I have found that the servo output via the macrocells are not adjusted by the wingmixer as when in setup to adjust the wingmixer values the macrocells are suspended to get the raw output so there are no way to adjust the servos from the wingmixer to set throws, centre poby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink
Hi Eddi Thanks for the explanation. I am still confused where you mention _FC Ail_ for example is the control+stabilization input for the wing mixer, for CH2, which is then tweaked inside the wing mixer (throw, center, direction, mix amount, throttle and differential mix; long tap, all the additional mixers). So selecting CHxx (which now has a FC component to it) as input, the wingmixerby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink
Hi Eddi/RV Did some tests and found that the wingmixer are not used in the SBus output at all. Does this not affect the gyro compensation on the channels? It seems as if the compensation travel is coupled to the travel of the channels in the wingmixer. As all endpoints and centre points are set for each flight surface in the macrocells but the compensation uses the 100-0-100 throw in the wby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink
Hi Eddi Thanks for the effort. I have also just finished checking it here with another Neo and yes it works as it should. I see that Futabe SBus receivers can be set to NORMAL or HIGH SPEED mode. (no idea what that means) The power distribution unit can accept 7 to 21 ms SBus input so the Neo output at 20ms is good. Thanks again will wait for the power distribution unit to arrive and do soby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink
Hi Rainer/Eddi I have not had the time to check it on a test rig here with another Neo as the SBus receiving unit but will do it later today. Thanksby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink
You would need to set the TX to mimic the Vbar Control as close as possible. Guide and wiring diagram are found here https://www.vstabi.info/en/neo_transmitter Always follow the directions in the tab to the left of each setup section in the PC setup software.by Vinger - VBar NEO (non VLink)

Hi Eddie I only have his Macrocell file and it is attached here as as a zip file, not compressed so just remove the .zip extension. Will get his VPlane file from him soon hopefully. Cheers and thanksby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink
Hi RV/Eddi He describes it as follows, on the bench, default bank 1 settings, give rudder input and the rudder deflection would stay at full deflection after returning stick to neutral. It will only go back with either an opposite stick input or if he moves the Neo to align with the demanded heading. According to him it happens on aileron and elevator as well. All banks flight setting areby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink
Thanks Rainer for the explanation. I am waiting on a SBus capable distribution box to check the setup myself. Another question I have is the wingmixer still used when SBus output is selected and FC XXX is used as an input? According to the customer it has no effect on his setup and why would the gyro compensation act in a "heading hold" fashion? Cheersby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink
Hi A customer is using a Neo with Vplane on his jet, set it for SBus output into a power distribution box that can accept Sbus. Everything works but it would seem the gyro correction works like a "heading hold" gyro would work on the tail of a heli. My question is, when to use for example FC Aileron, CH1 or Aileron as an input in the macrocells as it seems when one select FC Ailby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink
Hi Ron I normally choose two aileron and two flap model which then gives you a single elevator servo. In the macrocell setup I would then have a macrocell for output to the second elevator servo driven by the elevator channel and use a curve cell for both elevator servos to match their travel. For flaps you use the original channel for one side and create a macrocell for the other flap on theby Vinger - VPlane/VBasic VLink
I know there was a problem way back with bolts that were too long and could damage the screen on a VBCt and cause lines appearing on the screen. Currently have a few customers with lines visible in sunlight and in the shade on their VBCt radios. What can be cause of this? Cheersby Vinger - Questions VBar Control Touch
Hi Can the VBar NEO/EVO accept the serial bus output from the Spektrum SRXL2 receivers? Is so which protocol must be selected? Manual https://www.spektrumrc.com/ProdInfo/Files/SPM4651T-Manual-EN.pdf Thanksby Vinger - VBar VLink
Thanks Eddi, I can only reiterate what you say in my experience with support for the US market. Only a few and nearly all on the same make of helicopter that reported problems with Vbar Evo, the 2mm tape and latest update seems to have calmed down the situation except on a few nitro helicopters. Hi all If one selects TONE in the pro timer app on a VBCe (updated to2.1.115 and speaker fix) the TONE does not work. Volumes is all at 50%. Connected to VBar Evo or Neo makes no difference. Selection between PRO timer or Standard also no audible tone. Selection of voice it does work perfectly just no tone. Works on VBCt perfectly with the beep heard.
