I have send mails to both info@vstabi.info and forum@vstabi.info but mails gets returned as unknown. Tried joining the group through the control panel, but get no response. How does one get access to the VControl forum?by Vinger - Café
Thanks, that worked, will have to play a lot more to get my head around the new way of doing things.by Vinger - Café
Cannot find any info on this in English, searched the forum but no results. Want to enable extra channels on Neo so that I can have retracts switched from Aux3. Also not member of secret thread even after email was sent last week already.by Vinger - Café
Thanks will use the motor start stop then mixed to my HOLD switch. Anything I have to set in the governor page except to set it to external?by Vinger - VBar NEO (non VLink)
OK Aux3 for throttle then and I plug the master cable from the Kosmik into Aux3, this should then eliminate the motor start/stop as well, as the ESC is now not going through the VBar electronics? So normality to control the ESC is resumed and all done from the TX without interference from VBar settings.by Vinger - VBar NEO (non VLink)
The PPM ports on the RX are only inactive when selecting MODE B, with MODE A they all work, but unfortunately VBar does not support MODE A. So is this JR's fault or Mikados fault? Thanks RV will try your solition with throttle via AUX2 and hopefully the other AUX3 for retracts. Did you mix throttle to the AUX channel or did you use DEVICE SELECT to change the throttle channel? This will beby Vinger - VBar NEO (non VLink)
Now even more regretting buying the NEO, Mikado is trying to lock us diehard fans of the VBar out. Stating to get a VControl is not really an answer to a honest question. All indications was that the Neo will replace the VBar and now I am stuck with a product I cannot use unless I buy another product for $800???? Nowhere in the manual or other info on the Neo did it state that we will lose theby Vinger - VBar NEO (non VLink)
Installing the NEO with Kosmik and using XBus mode B. The problem is that Xbus mode B does not support channels to be connected to the receiver and Kosmik does not support external governors. So where and how to set the throttle input so that the TCurves from the TX can be used to establish the Kosmik governor? Another problem is to have another channel for retracts, where will this plug into thby Vinger - VBar NEO (non VLink)
The .vbr file is in the first post, thanks we might just try that.by Vinger - Questions V5
Thanks guys, we are using the mini VBar on all our heli, from 500 upwards, both the TDR and Banshee has VERY limited space and they just work, only this one that has us stumped. Jan Henseleit even recommends the mini for the TDR and it works perfectly. We have dismantled the Banshee, very unique style of head construction, has no spindle shaft, but we have DOUBLE checked everything on the helby Vinger - Questions V5

Hi Eddie Using a Futaba 10 radio with a normal RX. The same radio is used for other helicopters including a TDR, all fitted with VBar minis. The tip over starts with a wobble and then suddenly it violently rols over as if one has given full aileron input. The second tip over was violent enough to break the carbon tail boom in pieces and lift the heli off the ground with it landing on ot's noseby Vinger - Questions V5
Mounted in stock position on Banshee with a single layer of Mikado foam. Vibration analysis shows overall vibration to be less than 300, but this is under power. The log shows the vibration from landing, then throttle was cut and on spool down the heli violently tips over and self destructs. I know that sensor out of range is the resulting crash indication, so you will see two of the innstancby Vinger - Questions V5
Posting on behalf of a friend, Banshee, 1960rpm HS, Radix 710 FBL main blades and Radix 105mm tail. The heli has now tipped over twice in four landings without any warning, it happens on spool down after landing. Blades are tightened according to specifications (really tight) and spooldown is done with zero collective pitch as per instructions. We were told that the VBar might be the culprit bby Vinger - Questions V5
TDR uses Radix FBL blades and 105mm Radix tail blades with 1800rpm HS. Trex 500 uses Radix FBL blades at 2800rpm and KBDD tail blades.by Vinger - Questions V5
On all my installations the VBar tends to start the roll faster and then settle to a constant roll rate. It is much more noticeble if giving less than full aileron input to do slow rolls. What setting needs to be adjusted. Searched and read through nearly all the posts here, with no real answer found. Tried to change the cyclic measurement from 8 to 6 degrees and it slightly improved, but went baby Vinger - Questions V5
Thanks Ulrich it is now working perfectly on 5.3.1. Nearly had a heart attack!! Great supportby Vinger - Questions V5
Thanks Ulrich Followed the instructions to the letter, with no RX power it won't upload the recovery firmware, waited the 20 sec as per software, but still no writing of firmware starts. Do I have to have power to the VBar for the writing to start? MiniV was working perfectly, actually flew her two days ago. Tried to update one of my VBar mini Blue to 5.3.1 firmware and it went half way and I got the error that update was not successful and unit is not operational. Now it does not even come on and I get no port found error if I try anything. Windows 7 64bit and all the previous updates worked flawlessly on this PC To scared to do my other VBars now.by Vinger - Questions V5

The DMSS satellite is not a satellite RX like we got to know the Spektrum ones, it is only used for telemetry data transmission. Currently using the XG8 and you HAVE to use a full separate DMSS RX with all the FBL units out there. See http://www.jrpropo.co.jp/english/propo/dmss/products.html#ra01t It is called a remote antennae with telemetry support. If you unplug it from the RX you getby Vinger - Questions V5
