Thanks, Eddi, I appreciate the reply. I am feeling very much like an outlier for wanting written documentation anyway.by Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Thank you for your reply, Rainer. I suppose I could take a picture of a help screen, import it to my computer, run OCR against it to convert to text, bring the text file into my word processor, cleanup any OCR mistakes and formatting issues then save it off. I'd repeat this for every help screen on the VBCt, merge all of the files, then I'd have written documentation. I just have two questby Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Does anyone know of a way to download or extract the help files from the VBCt so they can be viewed while away from the radio?by Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
I have just completed my first flying season with my VBar Control Touch and Neo. I absolutely love them - I have never flown better or longer. However, I still suspect that I can further improve my setups to refine my flight characteristics and overall experience, especially with all of the new updates. To that end, I plan to reset and redo my setups from the ground up, where I plan to leveraby Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
"... maybe time to think about a battery pre-selection again, where you only see batteries suitable for or allocated to a certain model" Eddi - That just made my day! Hoping this gets done soon.by Jdutsar - Café
Thank you, Rainer. I will check that out.by Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Thanks Auggie. I will keep that in mind next time. Perhaps I can run my ideas by you first and you can help me phase it in a way that manufacturers would better understand. I thought I was clear, but the bag idea really clarifies matters.by Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Understood. By any chance, would Mikado consider selling pro and rescue as separate, independent upgrades? A more casual flier may want the peace of mind of having rescue, but not the complexity of pro settings. Also, of all of the settings available, is there an easy way to tell pro versus express parameters? It’s not clear to me which settings are of greater impact and importance versusby Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Got it. Thank you for your reply.by Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
As suggested, I went ahead and purchased the RFID sensors for two of my bigger helis and absolutely love it. Setup was super easy and the tags read 100% of the time without issue. Its the only way to fly! I am concerned, however, that the RFID sensors may not fit well on my Oxy 2 or Oxy 3. Is there a smaller option available. If not, is there a way to filter out the batteries associated wiby Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
I purchased Pro only so I could use rescue. Is there a way I can suppress or disable all pro options while retaining Rescue? Also, is there a way to tell which are pro versus standard parameters? Thanks in advance, Johnby Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Please don't worry about it. I see that there are some stock at a few resellers here in the States. I appreciate your help with this.by Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Thanks Rainer, that's very helpful. They are on back order - do you know when they will become available?by Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Would you mind sending me a few then? I will take 4. ;-)by Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Hi Eddi, Without RFID you always run the risk of selecting the wrong battery on the radio. That's even true with a "Fixed" battery where the radio assumes the same battery is being used, but someone could have mounted a different battery. Regardless, the risk of selecting the wrong battery is of lesser concern. This is more about not having to scroll through a long list of batteriby Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Thank you for the reply. I agree that the RFID sensor is made for identifying batteries and many would surely like that. However, adding a sensor across multiple helis gets to be quite expensive. For those on a limited budget, this additional feature will help make things a little easier. I don't think it's too much to ask for such a feature on a high-end radio. Is your position that Mikadoby Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
I would like the ability to assign a subset of batteries to a specific heli. For example, I'd only like batteries A, B, and C to only appear when my VBCt is bound to Heli 1 and D, E, and F when bound to Heli 2. I don't think this is possible now, but would like to see this in a future update. What do you think? Kindest regards, Johnby Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Thank you guys, this was great. Yet another reason why I am happy that I made the switch to Mikado.by Jdutsar - VTV
Are there plans to be able to view and compare setups on the cloud? I would love to compare values between banks and review documentation of each setting at the same time.by Jdutsar - VTV
Thanks, Eddi! That's what I figured, but I was concerned about harming the radio in some way. I didn't think the replacement would cause and issue because its just another type of switch, but I want to make sure. So... I will try this out and see how it goes. Thank you again! Johnby Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Thank you for your reply. I'd love to see Mikado offer a button that can replace a switch. Until then, I guess I have no other choice than to use a momentary switch for rescue. Kindest regards, Johnby Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
I have heard that people have used a Jeti button. Is that a better way to go?by Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
Thank you for presenting this episode in English. I am really looking forward to it and plan to watch live.by Jdutsar - VTV
I am a long-time Spektrum user who used the bind/buddy button to initiate rescue. I really liked that setup because I would fly with my left index finger resting on the button. Would it be possible for me to swap out switch 2 on my VBCt and replace it with a button removed from one of my old Spekrum radios? I am comfortable soldering the wires, but I just don't know if it will work or cause otby Jdutsar - Questions VBar Control Touch
I would like to learn as much as I can about my new VBCt & Neo after years on Spektrum & Ikon/Brain. It's been going well so far, but I've got a ways to go. Videos such as this one will be a big help and I am hoping it can be reproduced in English. Liebe Grüße Johnby Jdutsar - VTV
