Hi, yes, +1 ... There's one thing you can do on the ground, to get to see when it happens—seeing is believing: power up, initialize, then—very briefly—cut power and power up again, like, connector out-in. The unit will start flashing pink, indicating a brief power loss, and log a warm start. Same happens in flight, we must assume, reason yet unknown. Hi Maik, OK, dann kommen aus irgendeinem Grund sehr wenig (verwertbare) Pakete am Prozessor an, obwohl die Signalpegel (Screenshots) ja OK aussehen, der Funk selbst möglicherweise sogar OK ist. Hi, in other words: With a major version number change (6.x to 7.x) or a new hardware generation (NEO, EVO), time reckoning is reset. So if you intend to swap out NEOs for EVOs, consider selling the NEOs with Pro+Rescue, convert the license into money, too (which is always worth what it's worth, you don't get it cheaper than from us anyway, anywhere), update your new unit normally. Hi Horst, me no understand: die Pin-Leiste an der VStabi (Servoanschlüsse, RPM) ist wie ein Mehrfachstecker. Alles, was man anschließt, ist 1:1 verbunden. Servos CH1-4, Tail, AUXe, ESC Regler/Slave (wo frei), Puffer (wo frei), Kondensatoren (wo frei), Stützakku (wo frei), selbst RPM, egal. Wo sollte man den Puffer denn sonst anschließen? Hi, no need to be concerned. There are pins, on the battery holder, which shall help aligning the battery before it is strapped down. If the battery shifts ever so slightly (e.g. during transport, if the box is thrown/dropped), it can break those pins. They have no other purpose they don't actually hold the battery, the strap does, so—when strapped down (again) securely—all is well.von Eddi E. aus G. - Questions VBar Control Touch

Moin, nee, das klingt nicht normal. Das dumme ist, dass die NEO den Funk noch nicht protokollieren kann, sonst könnten wir mehr sehen. Du könntest mal eine Vergleich mit einem anderen Heli mit NEO am selben Ort in der selben Entfernung machen. Hi, this log looks like a normal power on, which you can repeat as often as you like. Cold start (power on) Reset reason (power on)—OK Bank 1—switch position, OK Calibration finished—OK ESC detected—OK All within a reasonable time frame. Then, Motor On, and that's it. Hi again, checking, none of the logs in the cloud now seems to contain the tell tale warm start entry. One log has static hit, modem chip resynchronization, and packet losses, and the corresponding brief drop in the packet rate in it (in the additional radio link log which is not publicly accessible yet). Hi again, fingers crossed that this was it. Goes a bit in the line with, if the main blades are attached too firmly, wobbles can occur. The rotor head or particularly that small size helicopters can be pretty sensitive Tail motor, I think but can't be sure, if it's running free, it could over rev, run into some kind of resonance. But dongles are a thing of good old times gone by Another option: if you have, or get your hands on, a legacy VBar (mini or main unit of black/blue/silverline) and a receiver satellite (maybe already in your toolbox or junk drawer, there's the VSim Firmware, which does actually that, output a PPM signal to a downstream PPM2USB dongle. Moin, die läuft auch auf Windows 11. Nur den Treiber, den man sowieso separate installieren muss, müsste man von der Installation von der NEO/EVO nehmen. Der im Paket der 5.3 lässt sich möglicherweise unter 11 nicht mehr installieren, stammt aus einem Land vor unserer Zeit. . also NEO/EVO Software runter laden, installieren, Treiber gem. Hi, a Warmstart is usually evidence for an issue with the power supply, short interruption, power surge, loose contact. But it also depends on where in the timeline it appears, could also be a result or aftermath. Hi, oh, interesting! Was it an open source project, or was there a company behind it? I never checked ... back in the day more or less the only good simulator on Macs was Heli-X after all. And depending on the model, I find it pretty AccuRate it's just that many models (to me) seem to be set up weirdly, or seemed to be, it's been a while since I used it frequently. Moin, die Expo-Werte sind ja althergebracht so gewählt, dass sie dem Flugverhalten entsprechen, was man ohne Flybarless oder mit anderen Systemen erwarten könnte. Plus-minus. Ich denke nach ich weiß nicht wie vielen Setups, die ich im Service gesehen habe, viele oder die meisten fassen das gar nicht an. Moin, Service hier Nach bestem Wissen werden für NEO oder EVO die selben Antennen verwendet, Standard 180 mm (etwa 150 mm freie Länge, der Rest 'verschwindet' im Gehäuse bis zur Buchse), länger (bei Bedarf) 250 mm. Auch wenn es geht und auch wenn ich es früher auch schon gemacht und auch erklärt habe (kürzen, Schirm abisolieren (ohne die Seele zu verletzen!), schauen, dass wiedervon Eddi E. aus G. - Café

Moin, man kann natürlich Low RPM auch mit dem normalen Antrieb fliegen, erreicht (bei angemessener Leistungsanforderung, Flugstil) dann auch die entsprechenden Flugzeiten. Am Ende braucht man ja 'einfach nur' eine gewisse Leistung dafür, soundsoviel Watt, relativ unabhängig von der Antriebsauslegung. Der Luftwiderstand (Drehzahl, Pitch) sind die 'Feinde'. Hi, thank you for the extensive documentation. The tail blowing is unfortunately an effect which can not really be improved, with NEO and V7. You 'just' need to keep a constant load on the tail (difficult enough, it really seems to be an intermediate problem, beginners don't often do such maneuvers, they fly forward , and experienced pilots have the experience to anticipate—and even thenvon Eddi E. aus G. - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions

Hi Ian, glad you found it! Not the first time, but the time I had to investigate sudden power losses years ago, it was 'just' a bad or broken soldering joint, inside an (original OMP) battery. It's just the way transmitter and receiver exchange numbers, so they can communicate. At each power on, current center positions etc. are updated, not like other systems where they were stored permanently e.g. for fail safe or such.
