I occasionally find interesting threads or posts here in the VStabi forum. I try to copy and paste the weblink to various platforms (text, email, Facebook, HeliFreak, etc.) to share with friends, but the pasted weblink takes the web browser to the general Vstabi forum home page instead of the thread or post I intended to show. Thank you for the response. I guess I did not explain my question fully. I will do my best to rephrase the question. Yes, I understand there is a serial number 27001270 cutoff when Mikado began shipping EVO units back in June 2023 with the hot glue already pre applied to the EVO units, so the end user would not have to worry about applying hot glue. Those are NOT the EVO units of interest forvon johnahamelv - Café
What is the serial number cutoff for the transition between the older EVO units (with sensors that need the hot glue fix) and the newer EVO units with new sensors not needing the hot glue fix?von johnahamelv - Café
I am trying to determine the EVO serial number when the EVO units transitioned to the new sensor not requiring the hot glue modification. Knowing this serial number will be helpful to know what EVO unit(s) one owns with confidence without needing to disassemble the EVO case and risking breaking retaining tabs. Mikado published serial number 27001270 as the cut off between the original EVO univon johnahamelv - Café

These are lists of features I would like to see added to the VBC EVO radio and EVO FBL units. I plan to edit these lists from time to time. VBC EVO radio wish list: 1) Allow functionality for the internal motion sensors: This allows for neat functionality for non-vital functions. For instance, I could tilt the radio left to announce current mah capacity. I could tilt the radio to the rivon johnahamelv - Café
I am a bit concerned that it may not be easy to tell which units are the older EVOs with the "hot glue fix", and which are the newer EVOs not needing the "hot glue fix". I understand this should not be much of an issue moving forward as the new EVOs purchased from legitimate distributors will feature the new sensors not needing the "hot glue fix", but it may become mvon johnahamelv - Café
It turns out I had 36 setups saved. I deleted most of those saved setups, and now the radio is saving setups again.von johnahamelv - Café
I don’t have the radio available at the moment, but I guesstimate 20 to 25 saved setups.von johnahamelv - Café
Yesterday, I noticed that my VBC Touch radio is not saving the setups. I go through the steps of saving the setup under Model Tools, but when I try to reload the saved setup, I noticed that my newly saved setup was not saved. My best guess is the VBCT has limited capacity to save setups. If this is the case, what is the maximum number of setups the VBC Touch radio can save? Also, how do I dvon johnahamelv - Café

Thank you for the response. What do you mean by the tail blade "flipping over" at the extremes of slider throw?von johnahamelv - VBar VLink
I am trying to figure out why I keep experiencing scary tail blowouts when performing fast inverted backwards "left rudder command" hurricanes. This happens with several helicopters. I would have thought that I would encounter the limit on tail authority when performing "right rudder" maneuvers, as "right rudder" is constantly "fighting" the main rotorvon johnahamelv - VBar VLink
Those adjustable servo arms may be a good idea, but they are generally limited to 19mm and 20mm servo arm holes. I have not seen adjustable servo arms with shorter hole distances.von johnahamelv - VBar VLink
I believe you may be confusing Optimizer flight (any wind conditions) with Trim flight (little to no wind). I understand I can adjust the length of the rod to even out the left and right travels, but I believe the whole picture dictates (a) tail servo arm 90° to pushrod at neutral, (b) even left and right travels, and (c) sum of left and right travel between 180 and 240 or so. Step (a) is thvon johnahamelv - VBar VLink
Hello Rainer, I've seen that before. As helpful as it is, it also leads to more unanswered questions. For instance, any concerns about ending up with uneven travels like 120L/80R when following this method? If unable to perform an AutoTrim flight because of too much wind, is it OK to manually "AutoTrim" the tail servo arm to 90° until the "AutoTrim" flight can be perforvon johnahamelv - VBar VLink
I am thinking of all the "conflicting" setup options. Without electronic sub-trim on the tail servo, it is very challenging finding a servo arm that comes out 90° to the tail rod. If I follow the method of getting the tail servo arm to 90° with the power OFF, then there is no way to obtain even travels when adjusting the travels with the power ON. So, instead of 100/100 tail travvon johnahamelv - VBar VLink
I understand I can adjust the tail main Gain as well as the Proportional gain and the Integral gain components. Is there a systematic way to optimize these 3 tail gain values?von johnahamelv - VBar VLink
When installing the tail servo horn, is it possible to get the tail servo horn to 90° in relation to the tail rod by adjusting the tail servo horn at the bench using the trim function in the AutoTrim menu?von johnahamelv - VBar VLink

Thank you for the reply. I got similar answer replies on Facebook over the weekend. It is working now. I separated the 2.4 GHz and 5GHz bands in my router settings and give each band a different name (I just added 5 to the 5GHz band). I moved to a new house with new internet. I was not aware of the VBCT radio being limited to the only the 2.4GHz WiFi band.von johnahamelv - Questions VBar Control Touch
The charging the radio while laying flat has a pretty easy solution. Just purchase a short extension with a 90° angle connector. The 90° connector will sit flush with the radio, so you can lay the radio on its back.von johnahamelv - Questions VBar Control Touch
I have been connecting my VBC Touch radio to WiFi for years without any issues. Today, the radio shows as "connecting" to the home WiFi, but never actually connects. I too vote for adding TALY to the Logo 200. If the guys at OMP figured out how to add TALY, I am sure the guys at Mikado can catch up or even exceed the OMP TALY feature, if they make it a priority.von johnahamelv - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions
