Hi Rainer, Interesting. I had not thought adding weight to the tail could influence it's control behavior. Did you prefer to leave it nose heavy or add a bit a weight to the frame? Thanks, Razvon Razmo - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions
Hi Guys, Ordered the Logo 200 with U/I Sensor. I have not yet flown her, but noticing she's very nose heavy with the stock 650mah LiPo as far back as possible and U/I Sensor installed. Should I be adding a bit of weight at the tail for proper center of gravity? Thanks, Razvon Razmo - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions
Thanks Rainer, Yeah, looking for a softer spring I can add a bit of tension to. Wouldn't be nice to have the option of a softer spring. Razvon Razmo - Questions VBar Control Touch
Hi Eddie, Do you mean I shouldn't be using a 17.5 watt power supply? I'm at 5v x 3.5a. Appreciate the charge time approximation, thank you. Razvon Razmo - Questions VBar Control Touch
Hi Rainer, Thanks. I'm not finding anything on the web about Graupner springs? Anything anyone may have to offer here in way of further information would be appreciated. Thanks, Razvon Razmo - Questions VBar Control Touch
Hey Guys, Couple of questions.. 1) I have a 5V 3.5 amp USB C power supply (17.5 watts). Will I receive the optimal 4.2v/cell charge using this power supply or is this too powerful? 2) Is there a suggested 15W AC power supply that delivers 3 amps? 3) What is the expected charge time at 15 watts from say 20% charge? 4) Are there alternate gimble springs available? Hi Eddie, I've ordered a set of new metal grips and a set of plastic grips. Going to try the metal grips first, see what I get. I report back soon. Thanks, Razvon Razmo - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions
Hi Eddie, All I can think of here, is the grips need to be replaced with a new set. Hoping the tolerance of each are true, providing symmetrical collective travel. I don't know what else it can be. Are there no known manufacturing errors with the Mikado metal grips? Thanks, Razvon Razmo - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions
Hi Eddie, Greatly appreciate your dedication and depth of detail here, very helpful. Some interesting news… I too do my setup in a very shirt-sleeved way, with a perfectly level swash at center stick (requiring very little trim, a couple clicks only). After thinking some more, I decided to be sure both grips were exactly zero when parallel to the boom. Meaning, with the helicopter onvon Razmo - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions
Hi Eddi, Greatly appreciate the information here, thank you! It’s true, I fly precisely without expo. I’m rather sure my fingers aren’t the cause, but happy to try dialing in 10% or so and retest. Regarding tracking, I’ll try that. But why a hair off on the other side may be beneficial? Another mention here.. I seem to be able to raise the main rotor gain up over 100 even 110 without the machine introducing oscillation during fast forward flight or a bounce after cyclic jabs. Razvon Razmo - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions
Hi Eddie, Sure, I'll try to save file to disk and attach over the next few hours. Regarding the more generic possibilities, all linkage is bind free and properly setup. Although my cyclic servo's are rather dated, they were new for the build. I'm running a set of HV Outrage Torq BL9080. All electronics are 2S Lipo powered. The machine has about 30 flights on it. Hi Guys, An issue I can’t seem to figure out. She is a finely built, very smooth 550 SX swinging RT mains using a Kontronik 80+ HV (not the pro) in governor mode 4. I’m testing at 1,850 rpms. When increasing collective and flipping inverted (not stick banging it, just nice and smooth) she struggles to sustain that locked-in feel (visibly oscillates) when applying negative collective tovon Razmo - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions
You lost me.. What do you mean by "measure both blades above the boom"? Also, shouldn't the gauge be zeroed on the motor first, then placed on the master blade to be sure the master is 0.0? This is what I'm doing. I then carefully remove the gauge, being sure to not rotate the mains, swapping the gauge to the slave blade (the rearward blade) which should equal 0.0 also, correct? I have done this. This was my next step, thinking another 180 turn may do it. Somewhat of a dumb question(s) here... Using a digital pitch gauge zeroed as needed with the main blades parallel to the boom while in the vbar software setup mode (level swash) if I'm measuring 0.0 on the forward blade and -0.6 on the rearward blade. This would tell me the rearward blade should be corrected to 0.0,von Razmo - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions
Hi RV, From view, visually the tracking looks normal. Possibly somewhat thicker than it should be. I'm not seeing two blades of course, but they sound out of track at Normal and Idle up 1. I built the head per the manual, including lubricating the feathering shaft, yes. Razvon Razmo - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions
Hi Guys, I'm an experienced builder, but the Logo 550 SX is the first I've owned with a full metal head. I'm running the RT mains that came with the kit. What I'm noticing, the mains sound out of track at 1700 (normal) and 1850 (idle up 1). However, at 2100, they sound in track, nice and smooth. Could this be a head damping issue or could it simply just need track adjust fine tuning untilvon Razmo - Logo 200/400/500/600 Questions
I've confirmed my NEO was running 6.4 even though the PC software illustrated v6.3.362. Also, I've confirmed Lightness was defaulted to 35 after the Patch. See attached.. Problem solved! Thank You, Razvon Razmo - VBar NEO (non VLink)

I think I understand. Do you mean my vstabi controller version is 6.4 even though the PC software illustrates it's version 6.3.362? I'm also noticing the Vbar NEO Downloads section says the current PC software version is 2.1.0 / 6.3. So I'm thinking the 6.4 patch replaces PC software version 6.3.1, correct? Hi Rainer, I'm not understanding how upgrading to the latest version solves my problem here? I don't have a need for the new lightness feature. Hi Rainer, I've always done my collective (swash leveling and min/max pitch) in setup. I just happened to have my pitch gauge still attached after clicking finish and noticed my collective reset to +2 degrees at center stick. My total travel was no longer +12/-12 either. After completing a level swash and 0 collective during setup, I noticed my collective pitch jumps to a positive 2 degrees after clicking finish and stays there. Even after I power down and repower, I get a positive 2 degrees at 50% collective? I'm using a JR12X Transmitter. Could there be some feature activated in my transmitter causing this problem?
