What is the difference between the V-basic and the new 7 & 9 Ch RX ? Beside the new receivers only being capable of RX why would anyone choose to buy a RX over a V-basic for a few dollars cheaper. ? Really what's the savings 10 USD ? The v-basic allows for future upgrades you can use it as a Rx and several other options. From what I am gathering if a field you fly at has a transponder at the field this meats the requirements for everyone who flies at that certain AMA field via freea. The transponder doesn’t necessarily have to transpond / relay altitude of the model being flown. The transponder could be at ground level sending out a signal. I was able to connect to the devise manager as normal procedure, Vcontrol recognize the update, and proceeded. I did not do the language change. But used the usbc that came with the VBCTe VBCe starts normally with on power tone / chime. Have not had a chance to test Tele sound. But did work post this update. I’ve been trying to update my Vcontrol Evo now for at least 8 to 12 hours. I have left my Evo connected to the Internet for the last eight powered on all the time connected to the Internet. The update app will not update my V control above 114.
