That's great Rainer thanks for that very thorough explanation. As the batteries are new I'm sure that I haven't got a problem there, I can see where you're coming from and it makes sense to see a drop in voltage when powering on but I have been getting 100% for the last two years after charging that's what through me. I think I overreacted a bit by buying new batteries but I don't know the histvon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control Touch

Thanks for the quick response Rainer. I have done as you asked and have 4.207 on both batteries when off and drops to 4.196 when switched on. I would assume from this that the battery is at full charge. Would the drop to 4.196 bring it down to 90% or is the battery indicator wrong? After being on for 3-4 minutes I turned it off and the voltage sprung back to 4.206. Regards Johnvon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control Touch
Hi, My transmitter batteries would only charge to 90% so I changed them for new and they still only charge to 90%, is this a problem with the onboard charging circuit? I have tried my JETI charger and that doesn’t seem to make a difference. Is this a problem or do I just accept that 90% is all I’m going to get from now on? Thanks in advance for any advicevon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control Touch
Thank you Eddi for that quick response. Have just had a quick look and have now got it working. It's as simple as editing the macrocells from the edit macrocell menu. I thought you had to do this from the setup menu!! Select the channel you want to edit from the macrocell menu and away you go. Simple when you know how. Again thanks for all your help it’s much appreciatedvon johnco61 - VPlane/VBasic VLink
Hi I'm having issues with vplane setup. Firstly, what plane type do I select? I have a plane that needs one aileron and one flap channel, if I select standard, I get two aileron channels. If I select standard with flaps, I get two channels for aileron and two channels for flaps. The main problem I'm having at the moment is trying to get a channel assigned to my gear. I get the aileron, elevvon johnco61 - VPlane/VBasic VLink
Yes that did it thanks, I do remember changing this now, not really understanding what I was doing. when I was at the field I didn’t notice the setting, not realising I needed to scroll down, if i had done that i may of noticed it. Once again you have helped me out Rainer, I’m very impressed with your response time and it goes without saying how grateful I am. Once again Rainer thanksvon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control Touch
OK I’ll go ahead and do that, I think I may have changed this now you come to mention it, don’t know why it just rings a bell. Thanks I will report backvon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control Touch

Sorry but can you tell me how to add this setup file, I have tried to attach a file I downloaded from VBC-t Cloud but it doesn’t seem to like that. Thanksvon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control Touch
Hi hope someone can help with my nitro setup? I have for the first-time setup a neo on my nitro helicopter. To keep things short, I had it operating fine yesterday setup head speeds in the three banks tested with no blades in the garden seemed ok. I had bank 1 on direct throttle but also tested bank 2&3 to see if the head speed changed which it did. Took it to the field today to test, svon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control Touch
Hi Rainer Thanks for the usual quick response That's probably better for me because i have a spare neo with pro/rescue, i didn't think i would be able to use that with a fly bar helicopter. So you say the setup is the same as fly bar less, the only difference being the gain on the head, that would be great if that works, does the rescue work too? Regards Johnvon johnco61 - VBar VLink
Hi I'm looking to setup my old flybar Raptor 90 on my vbar control, is the vbar neo basic a standard receiver and what i need? If so is it a simple process to setup and do i set this up using my vbar control or on the computer? Regards Johnvon johnco61 - VBar VLink
Well i went into Macrocells and it was indeed set to dms2 so i changed it to none and now it works fine! I've never been into this menu before but when i setup the first time i used the PC software so hadn't realised I'd changed it. So to sum up, it was my stupid fault in the first place but it has highlighted that Hobbywing are wrong to say that it doesn't work with the Vbar control, if i havon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control
Thanks Rainer I'll have a look into this later, it was used for spectrum a while age but I didn't change anything for that and it worked ok, i haven't been in this menu before so I'll take a look thanks Regards Johnvon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control
Well I had a go at fitting a battery checker but that didn't work, so I fitted a Current/Voltage/Capacity Sensor while I was at it. This didn't work either so it may not be the Hobbywing after all. I have a non-vlink Neo fitted with a rx satellite, is this the reason? Can you use the JST ports for telemetry if you're using a rx satellite? This would for sure explain a lot. Regards Johnvon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control
Rainer this sounds interesting i kind of understand, i do have a spare battery id checker i can try this with so will give it a go. Once again you've been a great help, thank you very much Regards johnvon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control
Hi Rainer Thanks for that, i do have a scorpion on one of my machines, a friend of mine has a Hobbywing 120A and gets telemetry with the touch. I want telemetry from my battery without using a Mikado Current/Voltage/Capacity Sensor, my friend gets this using the touch. When I failed to set this up i came across this in the Hobbywing manual At present, only VBAR NEO Gyro Flybarless system avon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control
Is support for Hobbywing telemetry going to appear on the vbar control? I got talked into buying one only to fined after a lot of faffing about that it's only the touch that supports it. Regards Johnvon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control

Hi As the title states i have damaged my neo board trying to replace the antennas, can i send this in for a repair? If so do i just fill out a service ticket? A lot of the questions on the form are related to performance issues, i haven't plugged the neo in since as i didn't want to risk further damage but do know it's damaged. I don't think I have this one registered so i don't know the servon johnco61 - VBar VLink
Thanks for that Eddi I don't connect to my computer very often so will see how it lasts but at least I now know how to reset it if it gets too far out. Will it reset now when i connect to my PC or do i have to delete that file everytime?von johnco61 - Questions VBar Control
Thanks, Yes the time on the computer is fine, can't believe you can't just set the time in settings on a £650 radio? When you said use the VBC manager was the clue, I normally just plug the radio in. After running VBC Manager and going through the process again it set the clock after closing down and restarting everything So thanks again for all your helpvon johnco61 - Questions VBar Control

Hi What voltage are the caps meant to be it looks as though the ones in the article are 16V dose this matter? can you use 10V for instance. Hi thanks for the quick response I have seen the articles you have highlighted and may have a go with a new BEC and using capacitors (I wouldn’t know where to start with the capacitor fix, where do you put them?) although I doubt I could trust this after the performance I’m having at the moment. I’m having problems with my V-bar mini and would like some advice before diching it. I have read that spectrum satellites seem to have problems with power being lost to them during flight. This is the problem I get, I have tried using an eBEC at 6V to RXb & RXc also fitted a scorpion battery guard and still get problems when pitch pumping.
