Anyway, after that babble of mine, I think my suggestion of modifying min/max is overly complicated and it comes down to this. 1) Can you include the collective centre point in the pitch curves reset? and to Angel's concern. 2) Is it possible to use pitch output instead of stick output for the 0 degree set and VBar gov collective add? Thanks Richby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
RE: VBar Gov I didn't know about the gov issue as I run ESC gov, but I've tested and you're right. It uses the stick output to set zero and apply collective add, which won't work on funky pitch curves. You'd think it would be simple to use the pitch output instead. RE: Min Max I can understand why the pitch endpoints work they way they do, as standard setups are quick and you can overdrive tby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
No worries, but it's not making it linear (as per the bottom pic) It should reset the mid point as well. Richby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
I set up an F3C pitch curve a few weeks ago. I recently modified the min/max pitch endpoints and it messed the pitch curve up by resetting it with a bump. I've attached an example of what happens. It should either leave the curve alone, or include updating the middle point. Thanks Richby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
Great idea. I could defo do with the stops being in the Modify Parameters app. Richby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
When I have readouts set on the Bank switch, and I switch from Bank 1 to Bank 3, depending on the speed I switch, sometimes it will read Bank 2/Bank 3, and sometimes it just reads Bank 2 and doesn't do Bank 3 even though that's where I ended. I notice this works fine on the standard taking switches. Thanks Richby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
Apologies for jumping on your thread, but it's worth discussing. 1) Charge point: I agree it's an issue, however the position would be fine if Mikado used a 90 degree connector instead of the straight one. I've replaced mine and it's a non-issue now. 2) Foldable grip: I've not seen this anywhere else, and it seems very user specific. Perhaps you could completely remove it? 3) Plastic/heaby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
Thanks, it's working again and thanks for the backup Jock. I thought I might the only one seeing the issueby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
Battery is full. Can't be timeout, this happens within a minute. 1) Battery is full 2) Verify Active Idle on 3) Full off and restart. 4) Active idle is off. This behaviour has only been since the update, as each morning I've had to re-enable Active Idle. Richby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
Thanks. There was one other thing. I found the Active Idle is disabling itself each night when I switch the Touch off. Just do a full off and on, and it's disabled. Richby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
I've just applied the latest update for Touch and there are a few odd things that you might want to look at or put me straight. 1) Empty Folders in archive. See pic 1. These are suddenly showing up. Can I delete them? 2) Blank space at top of log. Pages of blanks space. See pic 2. 3) German phrase in English log. See attached. Thanks Richardby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
Got it. I knew you were too smart for an oversight like that Richby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
I was standing with a pilot today, and when he landed and went into the menu, he tapped Bind Unit under Transmitter setup by mistake. It immediately terminated the connection to the live model. I didn't think that behaviour was possible, so just checking that it's expected. Richby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
It almost works. 2 logs per second makes it look a bit rough, but I could interpolate the positions up to 60 frames a second to make it smoother. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gn0vavWTsRw Edit: Never mind, 2 a second isn't enough for piro moves. > give them eyesight, and they start seeing problems > they never had before Well, you can only blame yourselves for giving us more than we wanted The calibration on Elev/Ail is 1.2 and -0.98 respectively so it's probably that. I'm happy that I'm not getting drift and the calibration is within a comfortable range, so no problems there. I was just thinking about writing somethingby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
I'm logging the stick positions using the Pro Logging app. I notice that the outputs for aileron and elevator are not 50 when the stick is centered. At the beginning, Elevator is 51, the others look fine. 13.10.2021 13:28:07;;Bat(S);Coll;Elev;Ail;Tail;NEO(RPM);NEO(out) 13.10.2021 13:28:07;0;0;1;50;51;50;0;1 13.10.2021 13:28:07;0;0;1;50;51;50;0;1 At the end, Elev and Ail are at 51. 13.10by RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
Version 1.5 is up. Fixed - 126 values properly Added - Logo 200 default model Added - Collective curve chart (if you see an error after uploading your file, try Ctrl-F5 to hard refresh) Still to do - fix Logo 200 RPMs. Should we move this conversation elsewhere? I'm conscious we're using the vstabi forum, so perhaps we should go to the HeliFreak thread. Thanks Richby RichardV - Café
Version 1.3 is up. vbarservices.azurewebsites.net If you don't see "VBar Services 1.3" in the top left corner of the page, you need to do a hard refresh in the browser, normally Ctrl-F5. Jock, this version allows uploads, you may just be seeing an older version. This fixes the 126 default values issue. Cheers Rich facebook.com/3drchelipilotby RichardV - Café
Yeah, I expect we'll see a couple of these, so thanks for finding that, makes it better for everyone. I'm away for the weekend, so I'll get that sorted next week. I'm glad you like it Richardby RichardV - Café
You can now decode your own files. VBar Services 1.1 Give it a go and let me know about any issues. The next version should save your setups in the browser. PDFs could be a lot of work, so let's see how this goes first.by RichardV - Café
Version 1 is up. This has the default setups and view/download options. VBar Services Next step is to allow setups to be uploaded and saved in the browser cache.by RichardV - Café
Let's not dwell on VBU. Using vstabi credentials was a valid security concern, and they were right to have an issue with it. Angel, I did consider the USB analyser option for Touch, but having to switch to USB each time to download doesn't seem very user friendly and I don't think many would use it like that. Jock, all the settings are saved in the cloud. The 1st 100 values of the hex fileby RichardV - Café
Too much effort for me to write for mac, so it would have to be a website that allows uploads and downloads. It shouldn't take too long, I'll see how far I get this weekend. Richby RichardV - Café

I could make it a website where you have to upload your files for viewing/downloading as CSV. Another option is a Windows app, that you can install from the Windows store, so you can decode files on your machine. They both have pros and cons. Richby RichardV - Café
Mine's in c#. I could stick it on GitHub if it's useful. If you can't use c#, I can give you the hex file positions. Richby RichardV - Café
I still have the component libraries to do the parsing, so I could make a windows application to do it. Export to CSV. Would that help? I could make the parser open source if people felt more comfortable compiling it themselves. This is just for the parser, so you would have to download the file yourself to your local machine. I have 2 helicopters for competition that are exactly the same, even down to v1 NEOs. The setup numbers, gains, expo, etc. are the same, with a few points difference here and there for trims and endpoints. However they fly very differently, even after doing the optimisers, etc. I'm interested to know if there are hidden values set by the optimisers that might be causing the difference, andby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
Having flown all 3 models today, the issue has not occurred again, so you appear to have fixed it. Thanks very much. I installed the update on the Dev Battery Logbook that was available this morning, but it all still seemed to go OK. How long until the fix is in the regular Battery Logbook and do I just stay on the Dev version for now? Richby RichardV - Questions VBar Control Touch
