Hi,

I'm not sure if this has been answered somewhere already.

Technically, the 32 G IMU sensor can sustain double the load, compared to the 16 G sensor in NEO.
If this is sufficient under all circumstances known so far (particular models, w/ or w/o modified gyro mount, if), can not be guaranteed.
If that sensor doesn't show the sensor hanging or sticking, either.
Even if it wasn't, it wouldn't be a guarantee, because, if overloaded, the calculations for the virtual horizon could still tilt or flip :-/ just without any warning, then.

Even with extensive testing, we can not test for everything :-/
Like, IMU Z-Axis effect wasn't an issue during development and testing back in 2014/15 when VBar NEO saw the light of day, but only first came up with particular models coming up the same year and later.

On the positive, to add to the 32 G sensor (also positive ), we still have double-sensor technology, with the high-range sensor helping when things get really ugly.

VBar Control EVO and VBar EVO have passed FCC testing, so we are ready to start.

Of course, the responsibility for compliance within your particular country lies with you.
But with CE compliance and FCC compliance, there shouldn't be much issues to be expected.
Like with the previous products.

Wird es fuer den VBAR Touch EVO Sender ein Aluminium Gehaeuse geben - und wenn wann ?
Are the any plans to produce an aluminium casing for the Vbar Touch EVO radio ?

doppelt? Hab grad ein déjà vu

Wir hatten für die klassische Alu-Gehäuse, die aber nicht so wirklich gut angenommen wurden.
Deswegen sind wir jetzt eher zurückhaltend ...

Mein persönlicher Eindruck: Metall, schön anzuschauen, aber auch Metall, kalt (im Winter) oder heiß (im Sommer in der Sonne), und 'brutal schwer' im Vergleich
Damals hat der Schritt Sinn ergeben, nachdem die metallisierten (aufgedampft, mit Schutzlack) streckenweise wenig Robust gegen kleinste Beschädigungen waren, was sich dann ganz schnell zu 'vintage' ausgedehnt hat, wenn der Schutzlack erst mal schadhaft war, anfing zu blättern ...
Heute finde ich die anders und robust lackierten Kunststoff-Gehäuse von der Oberfläche, Anmutung, vom Griffgefühl her das beste aus beiden Welten
Robust sind sie auch, plus, sie sind leicht, aber auch nicht zu leicht.

Ja was Du sagst macht Sinn. Ich wohne in England, das ist heiss (in der Sonne) nur zu wuenschen :-)

Und kalt, ja das ist ein guter Grund vom Metall fern zu bleiben.

Ich benuetze einen Harness, das ist Gewicht fuer mich kein Problem.

Wie Du sagst, Metall sieht halt gut aus und fuehlt sich sehr robust an.

Ansonsten ist das bestehende Plastk-Gehaeuse einwandfrei. Wollte halt nur mal checken ob es Plaene gab.
