It seems it is very basic knowledge but I am
lost.
Does it require vbar must be aligned 90 degree with main shaft?

I modified the heli FBL panel plate and not sure if it is right angle, may be -/+1 degree off.
Thank you.

Hi,

technically, all three sensor elements (their axis) must be parallel to the respective axis on the model, so they see no interaction.
If at an angle, a yaw rotation would also cause readings on the elevator and aileron sensor(s), for example.

In real life, it's not that important. I recall we tried offsets of as much as 20°, and the VBar was still able to safely control the model.

If you want it perfect, measure your angles and align properly.
But as little as +/– 1° would very likely not be perceptible in flight.
