Vbar Neo rescue initialisation warning

Hi guys. Just quick question about NEO rescue initialising. I’m familiar with all the precision and normal mode. Today between flights it would not initialise in precision mode in which it’s always been. Literally just landed put new batteries and that was it. Haven’t done any update or change in settings . Just started new season. On this heli have only about 80 flights. Never had any issue with Vbar on my other helis. Wasn’t even cold about 18 degrees celsius. Any thoughts?

i think the Z-Axis sensor was stuck mechanically - and once a "little shock" like a landing or talbel handling has released it again.

Please check the log file the next flights if there are any entries regarding this.

Thank you for you advice. Some told me that the z sencor is stuck and by tapping the neo with something will release it again. What do you think? Otherwise no hard landing or anything, i’m flying just easy 3d. I’m onky thinking vibrations on certain head speed.

They are right.

But if this happens in flight and you use rescue then it could fail. So - at all - if you have such entries we suggest to use the standard init. In this mode the precision is tried first (one swash bump if ok) - and as fallback we can calculate z from x/y only (3 bumps) which may be a half degree off but still accurate enough for rescue.
