GLOGO and YS91 Tareq Pinion, Main Gear Mesh

Gday Everyone,


I've come to a roadblock building my second Glogo. My first one had an OS105 and the main gear/pinion gear was smooth as butter; however, using a YS91 Tareq on my second build, not so much. To get the right mesh it will require shims. Does Mikado sell engine shims for the GLOGO? If so, where in the USA can I buy them?

I'm afraid we do not stock or sell shims for particular motors or for motors in general.

Hi again,

it seems like all engines have the same engine spacing. So if the pinion isn’t lining up, it will be some other thing not related to the engine.
Question: do you mean yo have to move the engine forward or backward? Or needs the pinion need to be moved up or down?

The engine needs to be moved forward. The height of the pinion is exactly as it should be and doesn't need to be moved.
