Fan Shroud

Is the fan shroud a standard Synergy N7 shroud? Maybe I’m missing something but I’m having a tough time coming to terms with the $43 price tag when I can get it right from Synergy for $15?? Especially when it requires so much modification.

afaik it's the standard shroud. If Synergy is selling them cheap, you know where to get them
I can only guess shipping back and forth, fees and taxes at both ends, and a feeble margin here and there add up ... to which extent is beyond me.
So if you can get to the source, all the better.

Maybe it would make more sense to ship direct to Mikado USA instead of the back and forth? If I'm honest it comes off as a bit offensive to us here in the states, especially those of us familiar with Synergy parts pricing. My entire hobby area is Mikado gear, so I have no issues paying a premium but this rubbed me the wrong way. Thanks for the clarification.
