VControl Touch cannot register

Hi guys, just purchased a Control Touch but I cannot get it to register. I scan the QR code, itshows the registration page, I click on register now and then nothing happens. It shows the correct serial number but apparently it doesn‘t register. How do I solve this?

Which serial number is it?
Have you logged into vstabi.info before scanning?
Which phone are you using and is the browser probably in a kind of safe mode?

In addition I cannot update my Vbar Touch and my VBar Neo - I want to use it on my Stratos 200 but I cannot get the new 8.2 Version installed - please help !

The NEO is not capable of running the V8

Hi Rainer, I was logged in, my phone is IPhone 15 pro, i also tried my iPad Pro - Same results. Browser Safe Mode - no idea. The funny thing is, I can log in on VStabi.info but to be able to post or answer questions I need to use an old login from 2014??? Has this maybe something to do with it?

Device Management is the Mikado ID login right top on the site - which is your Mikado Heli Shop account. This is the European Mikado-Heli Shop login.

So - can you log into mikado heli eu Shop? - If password unknown, there is a fuction for this after a failed login ;-)
Can you log into Vastabi main login right top wit the same data?

And ensure your IPhone safari browser is not opening new links in a private tab which is the "Safe Mode" and on 50% of our customers phone set to default ;-( - This opens a new one in a sandbox always - and your previous login was useless.

Yes I can log in on the Mikado page and I can log in on the VStabi.Info page all with the same log in data. I can only read the forum but cannot post or respond to questions with my log in data. This only works with an okd (2014) log in data.
Niw what do I need to do on the Touch?

Again - main login is NOT forum. Altough you might have the same data - the forum requires a extra login Have a look at the forum page on topn (not the very top) when you are not logged in.

About the registration - If you would log into vstabi and then scan the QR - which site comes up, please add a screenshot.

Please find attached screen shots. I logged into VStabi.info before Scanning the Code etc. Wenn I press Register here the Button turns dark and then nothing Happens I am getting desperate

Gut - und wenn Du auf den registrierungsbutton (1. Bild) klickst - was kommt dann?

Hier muss eine Abfrage mit einem Hinweis und 2 Buttons kommen. Wenn die nicht kommt hat Dein Browser entweder einen Popupblocker aktiv oder verweigert Javascript.

Hi Rainer, I get the following: QR code as on picture 3, then I open it in Browser, Then I get picture 4 where I can press the Button Register here this button then turns dark as on picture 1 and that’s it. I tried different browsers, nothing changes. On your Register page you say press the Register Button and acknowledge I can press the Register Button but cannot acknowledge
What am I missing?

Can you register from your end? You have my Mikado ID but then I can update my Touch and continue setting up my Stratos 200, update my Evo and Order Pro + Rescue.

Nope - i can't register for you. This is upon your browser settings. There is definitely something blocking our upcoming confirmation prompt which makes it nearly impossible to upgrade or load any other stuff later.

I have now set up my company (Brand new) iPhone and tried - it works like in my videos. So - the issue must be on your phone.

In my iPhone there is a setting which may causes this (proven) - and is default set "on" which we need

Settings-Apps-Safari- Extended (Bottom) => JAVA SCRIPT MUST BE ON

Java script is on. I sent a mail to info@mikado-heli.de regarding my apparently 2 accounts being active with the request to delete the old one. I still cannot register and I am getting desperate that you and I can’t solve this problem ????????

Well - to be honest - it must be something on your phone which is your personal one and we are not responsible for.
As said - my brand new iPhone was maidened today and is working ok.

But - my settings are only working within the standard Safari browser. I have loaded a EDGE too where i don't see such settings at the moment.

Also my phone scans and opens the QR in the camera app and does not need this QR scan app which you have "in between".
Does this app probably open the QR in a different browser than Safari - which has its own settings?

I am afraid you need to contact your phone shop as it belongs to this item and not to our Vbar control, shop or other things involved.

until this can be resolved, do you have the possibility to use a computer and VBar Control Manager, to register?

Some more ideas: are you using some sort of VPN, ad blocker, anything?

Couldn't imagine issues there myself, I'm using Safari on iOS 26 and AdGuard Pro as well as Hush which gives me a browsing and App-use experience like before everything was swamped with ads and trackers and cookie popups and that, just an (almost) clean internet, and it just works fine, with vstabi.info.
But of course there may be other things involved, and I'm always curious to learn, so we can provide better support.

Hi,

some more thoughts:

. if you were using an extra QR code scanner App but not just your camera App and Safari, it might be something in there
. if you open a web site in Safari, and if you tap the address box icon on the left hand side (square with lines below it), you can temporarily disable content blockers or other privacy protection, or even manage (enable/disable) your Extensions if there were any
. if you were using some sort of VPN, you could also try and disable it temporarily, to see if it's that which filters
. also check if it makes a difference if makes a difference if you go through a WiFi or through your data plan

Good morning Rainer - you were absolutely correct, the problem was the QR app. Both my Touch and Evo are now registered, how do I get the 8.2 version on both together with the settings for the Stratos 200? Can I order and install the pro + rescue afterwards?

phew!

On your VBar Control, please browse Transmitter Settings / Shop and select all Apps you think you might need.
For Stratos 200, V8 Setup App (probably already selected), HobbyWing Telemetry, Battery Logbook, and don't forget Auto Install Notification, it will help you in the future, should anything be missing.

On your VBar EVO VLink, purchase V8 Pro or Pro+Rescue, at vstabi.info/devices, pay via online shop, update via transmitter (Transmitter Settings / VBar NEO/EVO Updater), install that App from the Shop App if it's not yet there.

Once the transmitter detects the VBar EVO as a V8, it will offer the Stratos Setup in the Presets Selection (Model Setup / New Model Setup).

The V8 update (Pro or Pro+Rescue) is thus a prerequisite and needs to be done before you can start setting up the model.

. load the screenshot App from Transmitter Settings / Shop
. scroll down to (swiss army knife) Applications, ... do something there :-)

Make sure you assign a unique switch, as not to do a screenshot every time you hit Rescue or anything else.

I normally disable the switch, and I can still take a screenshot with a 3-finger-tap to the screen.
