Restoring VControl Evo
May 30, 2026 02:34AM
Hello,

I just purchased a new V-Control Evo + to replace my older Evo for my primary transmitter. I am trying to figure out how to perform a restore of the old Evo to the new one with my battery and flight log data. I was under the impression that I could do that from the cloud service. All of my old data is in the Vstabi cloud, under my old Tx serial 11005324, and I can see all of the records properly in the cloud under the new Tx, serial 11007954, but I cannot see any of my batteries on my new Tx or any last flight logs (which, according to the cloud notifications should show me the last 10 when I perform a restore). The rest of the settings look like they have properly configured as they should, though I have not actually bound any models to the new Tx yet.

Can someone help shed a light on what I might be doing wrong or need to do? I'm hoping that I don't at least have to re-enter all of my flight batteries all over again.

Edit: I was able to get this figured out from the cloud website. Just needed to fiddle with it a bit more.

Thanks in advance, however.

Ah - ok - so it is solved?

I think it took some time to be transferred through the wifi to the new radio ;-)

Thank you RV.

The issue was that I kept trying to perform a "Recovery" from the other transmitter, rather than "Copy Data" from the cloud on the new transmitter. When I selected "Recovery", it would take about a minute, but when I realized that I probably needed to then copy to the transmitter, then the sequence took about 10 minutes.

This is such a great feature to have! I couldn't imagine having to set everything manually from scratch again. That would take hours.

Vbar is such a great platform.
