Deactivate module warnings

Deactivate module warnings

Whenever I bind to friend's models for flying, testing, etc., which can happen 10 times a day, I get module warnings for Rescue and VBackup not being installed.

I don't use Rescue or VBackup, so is there a way to disable the warnings?

Hi Rich,

in Shop/System, you find an App named Autoinstall Notification.

Ed(d)it: but I'd install them anyway, because if you want to help setting up someone else's helicopter, you might also want to help set up his Rescue or VBackup ... Apps are only loaded into RAM when required, otherwise they only occupy a couple of KBytes on the transmitter's flash disk, nothing more.

Born to fly ...
forced to work.

The Warning comes up as soon as a Item is installed on the model which requires a app to setup and use.

So ... as you have a VBar with rescue ... and a Mikado VBackup in the model ... it requests for the apps.

Rescue makes sense to set it up just for emergency use.

VBackup also for threshold using HV Servos and to get Warnings in case of VBackup hat to take over.

It's like you knew what I wanted, before I wanted it smiling smiley

Thanks. I don't use rescue or have it configured on any of my models, so I don't want to trigger it by mistake while flying someone else's.

Hello Rich,

you can install the rescue although you don't use it.
Then assign "off" as switch.

So - you have it available in case of needed but not active in general.
