non EVO Vcontrol + Vbar EVO

Hi!

Probably this questions has been asked many times, but I can't find the answer on the web. :|

I have a Vcontrol Touch (non Evo) and I am flying a Vbar Evo FBL unit. Is this case, am I benefiting from any new feature of the FBL unit?

Yes, you will have all Features of the VBar EVO without any restrictions.

Does it include any improvement in the flight experience?

I have been able to perform maneuvers more easily and perfectly. Is it happening because of Vbar Evo?

Well - hard to say about the VBar

A VBar EVO has a improved hardware (sensors) and control loop. Especially regarding the servo frequencies on swash and tail. Laos some others like Banked shiver filter and phasing adjustment.

So - you need to know the frequencies and values for the last 4 points - and probably the "feel in flight" for sensor.

If i would have the choice - VBar EVO is the way to go.

About the VBar Control ... as the protocol is the same and the gimbals are also - i don't expect a difference while flying. Of course the setup is better on a touch/EVO - but in flight ... i don't think so.

well, I think the VBar EVO VLink can make a significant difference, to all previous VBars, because of it's faster signal processing, different sensors, and the more options you have, to dial in the latest servo types.

And both on trainer helis and on scale helicopters alike.

On the other hand, there are pilots who are still content with legacy VBars, and NEOs, or who seem not to feel much of a difference, but that also depends on your style of flying and much much more. It's like, you can cruise a Porsche, but you can also race it but of course not everyone is into racing.

VBar Control EVO can also make a significant difference (in processing speed, of the user interface), but not in the way you control the model.

The difference in flight is always the VBar in the model.

So - yes - consider about latest sensors and also new servo frequency options on a VBar EVO.
