VBC touch throttle curve bank1

Hi All. have a question concerning setting up a throttle curve on bank 1
Have installed a OS GT15HZII with Walbro carb into a 550 size heli. Have Bank 1 as direct and rest on gov.
Touch is on latest pro firmware, as is the neo
This carb requires a very low (20%) curve till 3/4 throttle due to it having a butterfly valve instead of a barrel valve.
According to the instructions listed here I'm to set collective add on B1 too a negative number for the macro cell I wish to use, but it does not scroll below zero?.
Second, I did notice a special throttle curve in the menu, did try to get it set up that way, but then I loose the ability to adjust Idle?

Probably something simple I'm missing ?

Hmm ...

talking about collective ad. If it is zeroed - it has no effect.

Please dial in the idle as known, then dial in the collective ad in Bank1 (manual spoolup bank then) for "useful heaspeed" at 0deg collective. After this the collective ad is used above (!) the 0deg to keep the headspeed in a hover/climb.

The special curves can be enabled - but only recommended for flight banks.

Anyway - you can linearize this behavoiur also a bit with the linkages - as we did on gassers ;-)

Yes this is a gasser engine, I never did try 0 on the collective add as was trying to get the negative number as suggested in the manual. Can any free cell be used for the curve ? when set to zero?

To use a special Throttle curve:

In Flight - open the Special TC panel, set the check on the bank(s) as likely - set up the 7 points as you need.

This disables the baisc throttle and collective ad automatically.

Another option could be to re-linearize the carb behaviour with a curve cell at its output. Therfore select a Curve Cell at the ESC output cell and use its original signal (FC ESC) as Input.
