Are VTouch Evo and VTouch the same case?

Hi,
I wonder if I can put a VTouch Evo in VTouch case, except the charge port USB Mini need to drill for USB-C, the remains thing are the same?
I am asking because I have VTouch blue transparent which is my favourite color, will buy Evo black and do the mod.

Hi,

technically, you should be able to make it fit.

Please mind the different loudspeakers: VBar Control EVO has had changes (and a product recall) because of a distance issue between the back side of the main board and the speaker, in early summer last year.
All is well now, but please make sure you use the low-profile speaker from EVO, to make sure it certainly fits, in any case, check-make sure that there's a gap between the two, and that it's properly insulated.

On a side note: we do not recommend disassembling our products beyond what's explained in the manual (change stick mode, replace battery, replace a broken switch, such things). Any damage which occurs during such modifications is no longer covered by warranty any more.
