3D quads

Hi,

Will Vcopter work with collective pitch 3d quads like the CYE Stingray and HK Reaper?

We don't have this kind of copters - so they weren't on the list.

But - can you give me more infos, how is the collective controlled, how the motors?

The motors are a fixed RPM on both these quads. Driven by one motor, and then the collective pitch of the blades is changed with a servo on each corner like a tail rotor on a heli.

OK - i am thinking loud:

- use the ESC outputs for the servos
- if a trim etc. is needed - dial a channel cell into each of the outputs ;-)
- use a 3-level Makrocell for Motor ESC (must be at Motor switch) to a seperate output

It is a blast to fly.

BUT... nothing beats vbar control.

Look at this video using vbar control in a 3D quad. Will try and reproduce this setup. Any plans for kits?

Nope - it makes no sense at the moment - the market for copters and its parts is completely overcrowded by "el cheapo" items - so it will be just changing money ;-(

Bummer. A Logo 3D best in class quad would take my money for sure.
