Unable to connect Vbar Neo to Vbar 6.3 programme on Mac

Guys
I have downloaded the key file and put in the relevant folder. Installed the drivers and also the software for programming the Vbar, however the connect status is not changing to green.

what Mac, what macOS, please.

macOS Big Sur was the first not to support VBar setup software, and Apple Silicon (M processors) don't, either, presumably even when using a virtual machine.

But ... if USB in the software turns to green, the software installation and the driver are correct, don't mess with it!
Then, please check that the file is really named keys.sto (not keys (2).sto or such, automatically renamed by the browser, at the time of the download).
And double-check it's really in the proper directory, please.

oh, and 'one more ting'

Please mind the computer software can only set up Helicopter Express/Pro/Pro+Rescue.
In case another firmware was loaded (VPlane for fixed wing for example), it wouldn't connect.
Non VLink don't have that option, but if it was a VLink to be used or set up without VBar Control, well ... for sake of completeness.
