Touchy Collective Help

Hello,

Test hovering my recently built Logo 550 SX (model 5086) with an Xnova 4025-1120kv, NEO, 14T Pinion at 50% throttle (which I figure should be about 1800rpm) governed with a Kontronik Jive 80+ HV in mode 4. For cyclic, I'm using a set of HV Torq BL9080 servos powered by a dedicated 2S Lipo.

I'm not a 3D stick banger, more of a intermediate smooth sport/3D pilot for now. During test hover in normal mode (should be about 1800 rpm, which is a rather low head speed) the collective feels too touchy. I also have not yet altered my pitch curve. My main rotor gain is set at 85 and collective was setup for +13/-13 on the bench. Could this be too much collective travel?

Any help/suggestions for softening the collective feel even at head speeds up to 2100 or so would be appreciated.

Just use less collective throw, either with the curve in TX or with the overall sliders in VBar PC Software.

But - one thing which could be a technical reason - please check thrust bearings for correct assembly (inner diameters are different).
